Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for signaling a scheduling offset for non-terrestrial networks (NTNs). In one aspect, a method for wireless communications by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving first signaling indicating a first part of a scheduling offset associated with a common timing advance (TA); receiving second signaling indicating a second part of the scheduling offset; and transmitting an uplink transmission based on the first and second parts of the scheduling offset.

The orientation information may indicate a rotational movement of the UE. The UE may transmit an indication of a beam associated with a predicted orientation of the UE, wherein the predicted orientation of the UE is based at least in part on the orientation information. The UE may receive an updated beam or measurement configuration based at least in part on the indication.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. Some wireless communications systems may support codebook structures for multiplexing single-bit feedback and multi-bit feedback in a same uplink feedback message. A user equipment (UE) may receive a first downlink message associated with single-bit feedback and a second downlink message associated with multi-bit feedback. The first downlink message and the second downlink message may have a common uplink transmission opportunity for transmitting feedback pertaining to the downlink messages. The UE may generate a codebook that supports inclusion of both the singlebit feedback and the multi-bit feedback for the first and second downlink messages. The UE may transmit the feedback message during the common uplink transmission opportunity based on the codebook.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) receives one or more timing advance commands from a non-terrestrial network (NTN). The UE resets, after a GNSS fix, a cumulative timing advance value based on the one or more timing advance commands from the NTN and transmits an uplink transmission with a timing advance based on a self-estimated delay and the cumulative timing advance value. The UE may adjust a self-estimated delay based on at least one GNSS fix. The UE may transmit an uplink transmission with a timing advance based on the adjusted self-estimated delay and a cumulative timing advance value based on the one or more timing advance commands from the NTN.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described for beam selection based on user pose information provided by an extended reality (XR) application. The pose information may be used to determine a position of the UE, and one or more beam parameters may be requested based on the position of the UE. The position information of the UE may include position information for a current time period, predictive position information for one or more future time periods, or any combinations thereof. The UE may transmit a beam request to a base station for one or more beams for the current time period, for one or more future time periods, or any combinations thereof. The UE may request a switch between beams of differing beamwidths or having the same beamwidth, or request a change of a beamwidth of an existing beam.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support configuring associations between system information of at least one downlink (DL) anchor carrier and at least one random access channel (RACH) occasion (RO) of an uplink (UL) anchor carrier for initial access in flexible multicarrier operations. System information may be transmitted by a base station to a UE over the DL anchor carrier. In aspects, the at least one DL anchor carrier may be mapped to an UL anchor carrier, or to one or more candidate UL anchor carriers from which the UE may configurably select the UL anchor carrier, for initial access operations. In aspects, the UL anchor carrier and/or the one or more candidate UL anchor carriers may be respectively associated with one or more ROs. The UE may perform initial access operations over the UL anchor carrier using the associated one or more ROs.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A base station may transmit a data message to a user equipment (UE) in a data block modulated according to a modulation and coding scheme (MCS). The UE may monitor for the data block and may attempt to decode the data block. If the UE successfully receives and decodes the data block, the UE may transmit an acknowledgment (ACK) in a feedback message. If the UE unsuccessfully receives or decodes the data block, the UE may transmit a negative acknowledgement (NACK). The UE may transmit the feedback message with the ACK or NACK and a value from a codebook indicating for the base station to increase or decrease the MCS by a delta value for a following transmission or a retransmission.
