    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the verticality, wear resistance, rigidity, and thermal conductivity of a tape guide part and to obtain a magnetic tape cassette of superior sound quality by forming the tape guide block of the composite material of a ceramic material and synthetic resin. CONSTITUTION:The tape guide block of the magnetic tape cassette is molded by injecting the composite material of powder or fiber of fine ceramics (SiC, Si3N4, etc.) and polyamide, polybutylene terephthalate, or other resin. Consequently, the wear resistance, thermal conductivity, and rigidity of the tape guide block 24 are superior to those of a plastic block and the magnetic tape cassette of superior sound quality is obtained.

Cleaning liquid is stored in the tank 3, the cleaning liquid path 8 is provided in the left side of the holder 2, the thread 9 is inserted in the path, and one end is immersed to the liquid and another end is in contact with the moisture absorption material 5. Thus, wiping and destaticized effect can stably be obtained.
