Optionally to the slurry an acid of P, As or B may be added below (150‹F) after the sol. As a further option a nitrate, carbonate, oxalate and/or acetate of an alkali metal, Mg, Ca, Zn, Cd, a rare earth metal, Sn, Nb, Ta, Sb, Bi, Te, Mn, Fe, Co and/or Ni may be added in solution to the slurry (below 150‹F) but after the acid if that is also used. Further sol may be added with the nitrate, carbonate, oxalate and/or acetate and/ or with the acid.
