    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a splitting conjugate fiber capable of easily and stably obtaining a superfine fiber by treating with a weak alkali, excellent in DMF resistance and suitable for artificial leathers, etc., by drawing a splitting conjugate fiber containing a specific alkali soluble polymer as one component and heat treating the fiber. SOLUTION: This splitting conjugate fiber is obtained by drawing a splitting conjugate fiber as one component comprising a weal alkali soluble polymer, which consists of a copolyester comprising terephthalic acid and ethylene glycol as main constituent ingredients and containing preferably 6-12mol% (based on the total acid component) of 5-sodium sulfoisophthalic acid and preferably 0-10mol% of isophthalic acid, then heat treating the drawn fiber with hot water or steam.     Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for bath drawing of finely dividable conjugate fiber, enabling the high temperature bath drawing, the good staple drawing and the easy stable fine dividing of a conjugate fiber, which is difficult in bath drawing as it is, without lowering weak-alkali solubility when a conjugate fiber, composed of a weak-alkali-soluble component, is drawn in a bath and to produce a conjugate fiber capable of producing ultrafine fibers in an easy and stabile manner. SOLUTION: This finely dividable conjugate fiber is composed of constituting components mainly comprising terephthalic acid and ethylene glycol and a component comprising a weak-alkali-soluble polymer consisting of a copolymer ester containing 6-12mol% of 5-sodium sulfoisophthalic acid and 0-10mol% of isophthalic acid based on the total acid components. For drawing the finely dividable conjugate fiber in a bath, the fiber is subjected to a primary drawing in a bath below 65 deg.C or with dry heat at 60-120 deg.C, and subsequently the resultant fiber is drawn in a bath of >=65 deg.C.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a napping sheet having homogeneously raised fibers by imparting a sheet of fiber-entangled body with a solution prepared by mixing and dispersing inorganic fine particles, drying the sheet and subsequently subjecting the sheet to a raising treatment with a polishing member under the suppression of the decrease in the life of the polishing member. SOLUTION: A sheet of a fiber-entangled body such as a nonwoven fabric or woven knitted goods or a sheet of a fiber-entangled body and a polymeric elastic material is impregnated or coated with a liquid prepared by mixing and dispersing inorganic fine particles (silica, magnesium silicate, metallic soap, kaolinite, activated clay, etc.) in a nonsolvent such as water and dried, and subsequently at least one side of the sheet is subjected to a polishing treatment using a polishing member. The process is effective especially in a region of an ultrafine fiber.

CONSTITUTION:The characteristic of this spinneret device for multi-island conjugated hollow fibers comprises slitlike assembled holes formed of a pyramidal torpedo 10 provided with plural fins 11 and a lower spinneret plate, conduits 2 and 3 for feeding plural molten polymers A which are island components to a molten polymer B that is a sea component in the slitlike assembled holes and adjacently arranged spinning holes 13 so as to enable the sticking of filaments spun from at least the two slitlike assembled holes in the lower spinneret plate in the device for spinning the multi-island conjugated fibers.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a raised sheet like article suitable for a car seat having permanent antistatic properties and high strength, excellent in fire retardancy and color development properties and having a high grade feeling and a favorable surface touch. CONSTITUTION:A raising fiber consists of an extremely fine conductive fiber containing fine conductive particles and having electric specific resistance of 10 OMEGAcm or less and fineness of 1 denier or less and a non-conductive fiber. These fibers are three-dimensionally entangled with a knitted fabric to obtain an antistatic raised sheet like article wherein the extramely fine conductive fiber and the non-conductive fiber are present on a raised surface in an opened blended fiber state and the extremely fine conductive fiber piercing the knitted fabric to be exposed to the rear thereof is bonded by a resin containing a conductive material and the occupying ratio of the extremely fine conductive fiber in the raising fiber is 0.5wt.% or more and the content of a conductive material is 3-30g/m .

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enhance the antifouling property of algae or shellfishes of a fishery material, by flocking the surface of the fishery material of a set net or breeding fishing net with fine fibers of 5 denier or less to form an algae-repellent fishery material. CONSTITUTION:An algae-repellent fishery material is prepared by flocking the surface of a fishery material for a set net or breeding fishing net with fine fibers of 5 denier or less, pref. 1.5 denier or less and more pref. 1 denier or less. As the fine fibers, composite fibers capable of being made fine are pref. in order to form many microvoids between fibers, to enhance water retentivity and to sufficiently perform shaking action due to a tide or waves. As the representative examples of the fine fiber flocking method, there are an electrostatic flocking method, a shaking-off method and a tufting method. When this method is adapted, a fishery material excellent in an antifouling property of algae or shellfishes and capable of suppressing the generation of secondary public nuisance is obtained.
