    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide the title yarn capable of giving knitted fabrics having excellent characteristics, e.g. excellent in gloss and bulkiness, soft in touch, rich in drape. CONSTITUTION:The objective filament yarns made up of at least two kinds of polyamide multifilament yarn differing in shrinkage from each other. The yarns of lower shrinkage A consists mainly of a silicate lamellar matter- dispersed polyamide composite where a polyamide partly exists at least between said lamellae virtually oriented in the fiber axial direction; while the yarns of higher shrinkage B consists mainly of polyamide multifilament yarns free from said lamellar matter or containing said matter at a level lower than that for the yarns A.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide the title cord excellent in characteristics such as dimensional stability, mechanical strength, heat resistance and fatigue resistance. CONSTITUTION:The objective cord characterized by: (1) consisting mainly of polyamide; (2) said polyamide is of high polymerization degree; (3) made up chiefly of silicate lamellar matter-dispersed polyamide composite microdispersed under such a state that the polyamide is at least partly present in said lamellar matter in an interlamellar fashion; and (4) said lamellar matter is virtually oriented in the direction of fiber axis. The present cord is useful, as tire cord, a carcass cord material in the radial tires for relatively large-sized passenger cars, trucks, buses, etc. Furthermore, this cord can be effectively used as a fibrous cord for rubber reinforcement, and in other general industrial applications such as transmission or conveyor belts like V-belts and timing belts and ropes, etc.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To secure the fresh, sanitary, and comfortable putting-on feeling by installing a sheet member which can be easily replaced and has a wing-shape free from any slippage from a basic bottom part inside a slipper, and replacing the sheet-shaped article in each use. CONSTITUTION:A foot-shaped part 2 and each wing-shaped part 1 on both the sides, and further a holding part 3 on the foot-shaped part are provided. The wing-shaped part 1 is used by being inserted into the foot instep part of a slipper body which is curved and rounded in use. The foot-shaped part 2 having a middle laid sheet form is positioned on the sole of a user's foot, and the foot of the user is prevented from directly contacting the foot-shaped part of the slipper. In replacement, the holding part 3 is taken and demounted from the slipper body. Accordingly, the installation to the slipper body can be carried out in simple manner by the repulsive force for the bending of the wing-shaped part, without using an adhesive member or hooking member, and the slip during use can be prevented, and further, the direct contact of the instep part with the basic member of the slipper body can be prevented, and the sanitary and comfortable use can be realized.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain an electrically conductive conjugate fiber having high conductivity, capable of masking the color of the core component and usable in various uses such as clothes by forming a sheath component with a laminate of filmy constituent elements and bonding the right angle side faces of the laminate. CONSTITUTION:A polymer containing >=10wt.% (based on the core polymer) of an electrically conductive substance having a volume resistivity of OMEGAcm (e.g. carbon black) is used as a core component 4. The sheath component is a laminate of >=10 layers of filmy constituent elements 1, 2 composed of different kinds of polymers (e.g. a polyester and a polyamide having a refractive index difference of >=0.03) or laminated interposing hollow parts 5 and has a bonded parts 3 on the right angle side faces of the laminate. Arbitrary color or luster can be developed by the objective electrically conductive conjugate fiber having the above structure.
