    Abstract: An improved chenille woven or knitted fabric utilizing at least a chenille yarn composed of synthetic fibers, wherein risen fibers forming a rising portion of the chenille yarn are composed of ultra-fine fibers having a fineness smaller than 0.9 denier and the rising angle of the risen fibers to the longitudinal axis of the chenille yarn is not larger than 50°. This chenille woven or knitted fabric has a very smooth surface touch and a silk-like high-grade luster. Since almost no risen fine fibers are removed, this fabric is excellent in durability.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To cause water content to be moved into the interior of a napkin or to the opposite side thereof quickly for leaving no water drops on articles wiped with water by using extremely thin fibers constructed to have positively a capillarity function. CONSTITUTION:A napkin consisting mainly of 1d or less of extremely thin fibers and having 200g/m of unit weight has a cavity having a volume variable in the direction of the thickness. For example, a yarn 1 has a total denier of 120 denier composed of two yarns, i.e., 60 denier yarn consisting of a polyethylene terephthalate of island component and sea-island composite fiber of a polystyrene sea component and multifilaments of 9 filaments. Also, a yarn 2 has the total denier of 140 denier composed of two yarns, i.e., 70 denier yarn consisting of a polyethylene terephthalate of island component and sea-island composite fiber of a polystyrene sea component and multifilament of 16 filaments.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the catching effect simultaneously with the dust removal by constituting the tuft tip part of electret non-woven fabric having surface charge density exceeding a prescribed value, and also, whose METSUKE and width dimensions are specified. CONSTITUTION:A tuft tip part 3 is constituted of electret non-woven fabric having surface charge density of 1X10 coulomb/cm or more, and also, whose METSUKE, and width are 10g/m -20g/m , and 5-500mm, respectively. In this case, as for the non-woven fabric, it is desirable to use the melt blow non-woven synthetic fiber because not only they are excellent in softening, but also the tip of short fibers for constituting the non-woven fabric twines round to dust, etc., and catching force becomes stronger. Also, in these dusters, it is desirable that they consist of the tuft tip part 3 consisting of many thin width sheets of electret non-woven fabric and a bar-like handle part 1, and the tuft tip part is attachable/detachable. In such a way, even if a body to be washed is washed, it does not occur that dust, etc., are scattered, and they are caught almost completely.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a cloth having particular structure with excellent fashionability and designability by preparing a narrow sheet and laminating a plurality of the sheets in such a manner as to form a stacked structure like a tiled roof stacked one upon another in multiple layers. CONSTITUTION:Narrow sheets S1 to S7 such as woven, knit or nonwoven fabric sheets having a width of preferably 1-200mm are stacked one upon another to form overlapped part having a proper width and obtain a superposed structure (or said thin sheets and a web are integrally linked with each other to form a superposed structure). The structure is sewn in the direction of the width of the narrow sheet to obtain a cloth having a particular structure with high water-repellency, gas-permeability and designability. A chic garment such as outer wear exhibiting a variety of appearance can be produced by forming a pattern with the sewing thread in the direction different from the superposed direction or by constructing a part of the superposed structure with narrow sheets having color and/or pattern reversibly variable by temperature and/or ultraviolet radiation.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To stably and readily copy a sharp image on photographic cloth by forming a first layer with a specific extra fine fabric cloth layer and employing an adhesive layer as a second layer and forming a third layer with film and/or paper. CONSTITUTION:The first layer is made of an extra fine fabric cloth of 1 to 0.00001 denier, the second layer of the adhesive layer, and the third layer of film and/or paper. The cross-section of the 1 to 0.00001 denier extra fine fabric is not limited to a cycle, and an elliptic shape of a greater compression and a rectangular cross-section are preferable. When their surface layers are compared with that of the circular cross-section in terms of fineness of the same thread, they are greater to improve fineness and smoothness. the fine and smooth surface made of the extra fine fabric is used as a layer to be copied, and is integrated with paper and/or film through the adhesive layer to fix the shape. Thus, a sharp image is stably and readily copied on photographic cloth.
