Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating method and coating device capable of improving the productivity in a die coater and reducing cost by shortening a time necessary for the positioning of a substrate before coating on an attracting plate and for the attaching and detaching of the substrate after coating to and from the upper surface of the attracting panel in a die coater to shorter the tact time, and also provide a method and device for manufacturing a color filter using the same. SOLUTION: In the coating method of forming a coating film on a member to be coated by relatively moving at least one of the coater and the member to be coated while discharging a coating liquid from a discharge port of the coater to the member-to-be coated sucked and held by sucking disk, and operation to reduce the sucking force for detaching the member to be coated from the sucking disk is executed several times after the coating film is formed on the member to be coated. The method and device of manufacturing the color filter uses the above coating method and coating device.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To replace a coating liquid or the like in a short period of time in a coating liquid feed line by installing respective fluid-passages in a cylinder storing a fluid inside and in a piston feeding the fluid to the inside or the outside of the cylinder by reciprocal motion, of a piston pump. SOLUTION: In a die coat method which is used for forming a coating film C on the surface of a material A to be coated such as a glass substrate or the like while a coating liquid 114 delivered out of contact with the surface, a piston pump 120 is used as a feeding means of the coating liquid 114 to a die 30. In order to feed the coating liquid 114 in a tank 112 to the die 30, a piston 128 is travelled to the lower side by a definite quantity and a cylinder 124 is filled in with the coating liquid 114 through a fluid-passage 132, after a taken-in valve 126 is opened and a delivery valve 122 is closed. Then, the piston 128 is travelled to the upper side by a definite quantity and the coating liquid 114 in the cylinder 124 is fed to a manifold 62 of the die 30 through an outlet 136, after the taken-in valve 126 is closed and the delivery valve 122 is opened.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent defects in coating or the like caused by static electricity from occurring by providing a coated member sucking surface whose diagonal length is made longer than the specified length and which is constituted of metal of a mount base with an electrostatic force generation restraining member. SOLUTION: A die coater is provided with a pedestal 2, and on the pedestal 2, a pair of guide groove rails 4 and mounted, and on the guide groove rails 4, a mount base 6 as a holding body is disposed, and the upper surface of the mount base 6 is constituted as a sucking surface 90 having sucking holes 82 which can fix a member to be coated A by vacuum suction. And the length of a diagonal line connecting opposite angles of the sucking surface 90 of the mount base 6 is made to be 500 mm or more, and Kanigen plating for restraining static electricity by friction with glass is applied to the sucking surface 90. When the suction of a substrate is released by air blow of discharging compressed air from the sucking holes 82, the substrate can be removed with a small blow and in a short time.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent meandering of filament yarn and deterioration of quality due to losing its shape of a clustered filament yarn bundle by arranging a pair of filament yarn holding bars at a space, continuously winding a filament yarn round the paired filament yarn holding bars in the outer peripheral direction, and moving the filament yarn in the axial direction of the filament yarn holding bar. SOLUTION: Plural filament yarn 1a, 1b, 1c are guided to a tension applying plate by each filament yarn by a partition guide 9 and a filament yarn path guide 10. A direct acting machine 19 is moved forward and backward, whereby arbitrary compression force is transmitted to a filament yarn clamped between two tension applying plates through an elastic body and a film to apply suitable tension thereto. The filament yarn 1 which has passed through the tension applying plates is guided to the peripheral part of a filament yarn holding bar 2 by a take-up guide 7. The take-up guide 7 is rotated about the outer peripheral part of the paired filament yarn holding bars by a direct-acting actuator 6 to wind the filament yarn 1 round the filament yarn holding bars 2a, 2b. Further, the take-up guide 7 is moved pitch by pitch in the longitudinal direction of the filament yarn holding bar 2 with every turn.

SOLUTION: The operation of a feed unit 50 and each solenoid switching valve are executed by receiving a control signal from a feed device controller 58, and the coating liq. 42 is sucked from a coating liq. tank 56 and supplied to the nozzle 20. The pressure is controlled by connecting the coating liq. tank 56 to the feed device of air, nitrogen, etc., for adding always a fixed pressure with air, nitrogen, etc., in order to stabilize the sucking operation of the coating liq. 42. And, the nozzle 20 being a coating liq. discharging device is connected to an elevating/lowering mechanism and a width direction moving mechanism by interposing a holder 22 on a table 6. A guide rod, an AC servo-motor, etc., required for each operation are arranged in a casing and the nozzle can be freely moved.

When positioned at the recovering position, the gutter 92 receives a coating liquid discharged out of a discharge outlet of the slit die 40 and when the gutter 92 is returned to the waiting position from the recovering position, the sweeping member 94 scrapes and removes the coating liquid adhering to the peripheral part of the discharge outlet of the slit die 40.
