PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly discharge body waste enclosed in a skin out of the skin.SOLUTION: A skin cosmetic apparatus using an ultrasonic vibration is disclosed. The disclosed skin cosmetic apparatus includes: a body; an ultrasonic wave generation part arranged inside the body and generating a vibration through an ultrasonic wave; and a vibration member for receiving an ultrasonic vibration generated from the ultrasonic wave generation part, transmitting the vibration to the skin, and having space parts through which body wastes existing in the skin are discharged out of the skin with the use of an ultrasonic vibration.
Abstract:
The disclosed embodiments provide skin stimulating devices and methods that address the aging effects of skin at a protein level. Particularly, cyclical mechanical strain is used to regulate specific proteins within the skin, so as to produce specific effects. As a non-limiting example, the disclosed embodiments can be used to increase the production of certain proteins (e.g., hyaluronan synthase 3 (HAS3); fibronectin; tropoelastin; procoll1; integrin, etc.) in the skin, which results in anti-aging effects by increasing epidermal cohesion.

A portable device for use in the application of simultaneous radial vibration, orbital motion and rotational or torsional oscillation to a person. The device includes: (1) a power unit for housing a power source to supply power to the apparatus; (2) a motor having an output shaft positioned within the power unit; (3) a stimulator for directly translating rotational energy into orbital motion, creating rotational or torsional oscillation, and producing random radial vibration; and (4) a flexible covering surrounding the device.

Intra-oral element for application of energy delivery treatments in jawbone, gums or other tissues inside the mouth, comprising a main body (2) attached to a cable (3) that connects it to the energy equipment and to a shaft (4) with a head (5) at its distal end where it incorporates the energy application means (6), formed by electrodes, electric resistances, or a combination of both. It also incorporates a temperature sensor (7), means for quantitative measurement of the energy delivered, and a screen (8) displaying the temperature and/or power, control buttons (9) and emergency stop button (10). The main body (2) is a handle-shaped housing. The shaft (4) is removable and the head (5) is provided with an adapter (51), formed by a conductive medium with flexible structure.

Devices and methods for performing CPR on a patient within an imaging field of an imaging device. The device has a compression belt and a belt tensioning mechanism, both located on or in the device such that the head, neck, thorax and abdomen of the patient may be place within the imaging field with the compression belt installed about the patient and the belt tensioning mechanism will be located outside of the imaging field.

A holder may be more easily mounted on a user's body by applying tension to a cable. An inner side surface of the holder with which the user's body comes in contact transmits uniform pressure to the user's body such that the holder may be more comfortable to the user.
