Abstract:
An electrode cleaner for an electro-kinetic transporter-conditioner includes a mechanism to clean one or more the wire-like electrodes of a first electrode array. A length of flexible electrically insulating material projects from a base of a second electrode array towards and beyond the first electrode array. The distal end of the material includes a slit that engages a corresponding wire-like electrode. As a user moves the second electrode array up or down within the conditioner housing, friction between slit edges and the wire-like electrode cleans the electrode surface. The sheet material maybe biasedly pivotably attached to the base of the second electrode array, and may be urged away from and generally parallel to the wire-like electrodes when the conditioner is in use.

An electro-kinetic electro-static air conditioner includes a mechanism to clean the wire-like electrodes in the first electrode array. A length of flexible Mylar type sheet material projects from the base of the second electrode array towards and beyond the first electrode array. The distal end of each sheet includes a slit that engages a corresponding wire-like electrode. As a user moves the second electrode array up or down within the conditioner housing, friction between slit edges and the wire-like electrode cleans the electrode surface. The sheet material may be biasedly pivotably attached to the base of the second electrode array, and may be urged away from and parallel to the wire-like electrodes when the conditioner is in use. Another embodiment includes a bead-like member having a through opening or channel, through which the wire-like electrode passes. As the conditioner is turned upside down and rightside up, friction between the opening in the bead-like member and wire-like electrode cleans the electrode surface. The bead-like member may be made of ceramic, glass, or even metal. The through channel may be symmetrically formed in the bead-like member, but preferably will be asymmetrical to create a mechanical moment and increased friction with the surface of the wire-like electrode being cleaned.

Disclosed is a wind generating machine with no moving parts. A thin corona wire is located adjacent a wire mesh and a potential gradient of from 7,000 to 20,000 volts causes air to flow in a direction from the wire toward the mesh. The air flow is voltage sensitive. Several stages may be provided and the mesh may form part of a continuous belt. A rigid self-contained assembly is provided by physically connecting the wire and mesh. In other forms, a dielectric coated wire or a liquid, for example, water, is utilized in lieu of the thin corona wire.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a scrubber apparatus with high efficiency for removing black carbon and sulfur oxides. The scrubber apparatus can have increased capacity for processing exhaust gas. According to the present invention, the scrubber apparatus uses a cleaning solution to remove contaminants contained in the exhaust gas and may include: a body that includes an inlet through which the exhaust gas enters, and an outlet through which the exhaust gas is discharged; a cooling processing part which cools the exhaust gas and supplies the exhaust gas to the body; a melting processing part which makes the exhaust gas pass through the cleaning solution; and a collection processing part which includes a filler for collecting the contaminants of the exhaust gas.

본 발명은, 싸이클론의 소형화와, 높은 PM 포집율 및 저연비를 도모할 수 있는 디젤 엔진 배출 가스 정화 장치의 제공하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이러한 디젤 엔진 배출 가스 정화 장치는, 중유 이하의 저질 연료를 사용하는 디젤 엔진의 배출 가스 중에 포함되는 입상 물질을 대전시키는 방전 전극 및 대전된 상기 입상 물질을 포집하는 집진 전극을 구성하는 관형 포집부를 갖고, 관형 포집부로부터 박리된 입상 물질을 분별하여 포집하는 싸이클론 방식의 분별 포집 수단을 구비하는 것으로서, 관형 포집부의 하류측의 내면 부근에 설치한 입상 물질의 고농도 배출 가스 도출부에 하나 내지 복수의 접선식 싸이클론으로 구성한 싸이클론 포집 수단을 구비하고, 고농도 배출 가스 도출부로부터 배출되는 고농도 배출 가스류를 상기 배출 가스의 유량에 따라서 선택적으로 상기 접선식 싸이클론에 도입하는 방식으로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 한다.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an upper rapper type electrostatic precipitator and, specifically, to an upper rapper type electrostatic precipitator which: prevents dust collecting efficiency from being reduced because processed dust is attached to discharge electrodes by hitting a dust collecting plate from the upper side; and removes contamination source of the discharge electrodes and discharge plates which enhance dust collecting efficiencies. The precipitator comprises: a plurality of dust collecting electrodes which respectively has a panel structure and is arranged by being distanced from each other; a plurality of discharge electrodes which is arranged between the dust collecting electrodes and has a frame structure by a plurality of connecting members; an electric rapper device installed to give impact to one or more of dust collecting electrodes or discharge electrodes; and dust collecting hoppers installed in the lower part of the dust collecting electrodes. In the upper rapper type electrostatic precipitator, smoke flows between the dust collecting electrodes, and impact or vibration of the rapper device for the dust collecting electrodes or discharge electrodes for removing collected dust or contamination source is added from the upper part to lower part of the precipitator.
