Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller for hybrid vehicle, which prevents cooling water from being boiled. SOLUTION: The controller for hybrid vehicle 120 using an engine 200 and a motor MG2 as power sources includes: a cooling device 40 provided on a path through which the cooling water circulates, to cool exhaust of the engine 200 by circulating the cooling water therein; and an ECU 100 estimating the amount of heat to be transmitted to the cooling water from the exhaust inside the cooling device 40, and stopping combustion of the engine 200 according to an estimation result to use only the motor MG2 for travel. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas fuel engine capable of surely injecting gas fuel to a combustion chamber even if gas fuel remaining in a gas fuel storage tank gets less and pressure of gas fuel in the gas fuel storage tank gets to predetermined value or less. SOLUTION: In a gas fuel engine 10, oxygen and argon as working gas are supplied to a combustion chamber 21, hydrogen (gas fuel) supplied from a hydrogen tank 41 (gas fuel storage tank) is injected from a hydrogen injection valve 35 to the combustion chamber 35 at predetermined injection timing and is burned. The engine 10 is provided with cylinder pressure reduction means (70, 80, 90, and the like) reducing pressure of gas existing in the combustion chamber 21 at the injection timing as compared to a case that pressure of gas fuel in the hydrogen tank 41 is larger then predetermined value if quantity of hydrogen remaining in the hydrogen tank 41 gets less and pressure in the hydrogen tank gets to the predetermined value or less.
