Abstract:
A method for configuring a transmitter device to transmit a recognized transmission to a receiving device is provided. The method includes transmitting a first transmission and transmitting a second transmission after the first transmission. The method further includes receiving, during the second transmission, a user input signal from an interface for receiving signals from one or more user interface elements. The method further includes storing an attribute associated with the second transmission in a memory device in response to the user input signal.
Abstract:
The invention concerns a radio control system for automated equipment, which comprises at least a radio frequency transmitter and at least one radio receiver device, and where the radio transmitter is set to transmit a simultaneous transmission of at least one fixed code and one variable code system whereas the radio receiver is set to receive and selectively recognise the former, the latter or all the coded systems arriving from said transmitter to activate equipment required to be controlled.
Abstract:
A transmitter for wirelessly controlling a plurality of remote electronic systems includes a memory, a transmitter circuit, and a control circuit. The memory is configured to store a plurality of control data messages, each control data message configured to control a different remote electronic system. The control circuit is configured to command the transmitter circuit to transmit a plurality of wireless control signals in response to a single event, each wireless control containing a different control data message.
Abstract:
A trainable transceiver for learning and transmitting an activation signal that includes an RF carrier frequency modulated with a code for remotely actuating a device, such as a garage door opener. The trainable transceiver preferably includes a controller, a signal generator, and a dynamically tunable antenna having a variable impedance that may be selectively controlled in accordance with a detector circuit signal. The detector circuit provides a measurement of the transmission power and is also used to vary the applied transmission power of the transceiver in response to operating and environmental parameters.
Abstract:
A processor-based transmitter-receiver system and method (10) in which a receiver (150) receives coded signals from at least two transmitters (figure 1A). The receiver (150) comprises a circuit for receiving a first coded signal from a first transmitter (140) and a second coded signal from a second transmitter (figure 3A). Each of the coded signals includes a unique identification code and a variable security code (figure 4C). A memory (102, figure 2A) stores at least two codes, each including a unique identification code and a variable security code. A processor (100, figure 2A) coupled to the circuit and the memory (102), compares each of the received coded signals with each of the stored sets of codes. The processor generates a valid signal if one of the received coded signals matches one of the stored codes.
Abstract:
A security system for monitoring a protected area and sounding an alarm comprising at least one sensor arranged about a protected area for sensing incoming threat, means for generating at least one pulse for each sensor activated by the incoming threat to the area, an alarm controller for receipt of the pulses and sounding of an alert; and, a single wire (85) connecting outputs of sensors to the controller (35) for transmitting the pulses generated by these sensors to the controller.
Abstract:
A radio control for electric devices may include: a containment body provided with at least one button, at least one electronic transmitter configured to transmit a unique code in a direction of the electric devices, and a microprocessor to which generated signals are sent, by pressing the at least one button, that is configured to control the at least one transmitter, and that is configured to determine the unique code. Each time the at least one button is pressed, the unique code may be transmitted by the at least one electronic transmitter at least once at a first frequency and then may be retransmitted at least once at a second frequency different than the first frequency.
Abstract:
A system for installation in a vehicle and for controlling a device, the system including a trainable transceiver, communications electronics, and a processing circuit coupled to the trainable transceiver and the communications electronics. The processing circuit is configured to train the trainable transceiver to control a device using information received from a cloud computing system remote from the device and vehicle via the communications electronics.
Abstract:
A trainable transceiver is provided having an integrated interface connections with various vehicle modules for use with various remote electronic devices and a method of programming and using the same. The wireless trainable transceiver is in a vehicle with an integrated interface allowing connection to a human-to-machine interface and vehicle position determination device, such a navigation system and compass and the wireless trainable transceiver has the ability to change functions associated with preset buttons on the trainable transceiver, depending upon the location of the vehicle.
Abstract:
A controlled device generates an authentication random number. A control device accepts input of a random number from an input device. The controlled device verifies if the displayed authentication random number and the random number transferred from the control device are identical to transfer a public key of the controlled device to the control device. The controlled device generates a token. The control device encrypts the token with the public key of the controlled device. The controlled device decrypts the token and verifies if the token transferred from the control device and the generated token are identical to generate a session key. The control device stores the session key into the storage device. The control device controlling the controlled device by encrypted communication using the session key.
