    Abstract: A laser welding jig for joining thin plates is provided to manufacture a jig simply and inexpensively, enable the jig to be used for many purposes without being limited to the size of thin plates as welding objects, and reduce production costs by optimizing the consumption of an inert gas used during welding, and a method for welding the thin plates using the laser welding jig is provided.
