Abstract: The circuit controls the private branch exchange subscriber test circuit having functions for testing the subscriber line, the subscriber terminals, and the analog relay. The circuit includes a first interface unit (40) for interfacing the circuit with the upper level processor, a microcomputer controller (10) for analyzing the test information of the being tested subscriber circuit to generate and to transmit the control signals to the corresponding circuits, for discriminating the faults by receiving the tested results from testers and for transmitting the discriminated results to the first interface unit (40), an address decoder (20) for enabling the necessary circuits by decoding instructions transmitted from the microcomputer, and a memory (30) for recording the data from the microcomputer controller and the address decoder (20).

Abstract: PURPOSE: A passive optical network providing system of a PTL(Packet Transport Layer) manner and a method thereof are provided to manage the whole network with one connection.
