Abstract: PURPOSE: A temporary operation control apparatus at fail of a crank angle sensor for a vehicle and a method thereof are provided to improve convenience by operating temporarily with estimating a signal from the failed crank angle sensor through the other crank angle sensor. CONSTITUTION: A temporary operation control device at fail of a crank angle sensor is composed of two crank angle sensors(CAS1,CAS2), two cam position sensors(CPS1,CPS2), an engine control unit(10), an ignition module(20), an ignition coil module(30) and a spark plug(40). The cylinder is distinguished, and the position of a crankshaft and a camshaft is checked based on signals from crank angle sensors and cam position sensors. The signal of the failed crank angle sensor is estimated according to signals from the other crank angle sensor and the cam position sensor at fail of the crank angle sensor. The engine control unit outputs the ignition control signal to the ignition module with the estimated signal and the detected signal. The vehicle is operated temporarily with using the estimated signal.

Abstract: PURPOSE: An exhaust manifold is provided to exactly control fuel ratio by improving an oxygen sensor through changing left and right banks and to increase an engine idle while reducing emission. CONSTITUTION: An exhaust manifold comprises left bank(300) discharging exhaust gas by being mounted on a cylinder of an engine; plural runner pipes(320,340,360) installed on the cylinder of the engine; a first mixing pipe(380) collecting the exhaust gas by being interlocked with the plural inner pipe; an oxygen sensor(390) detecting oxygen of exhaust gas by being mounted on the first mixing pipe; and a cross unit(311) formed by crossing the plural runner pipes. The cross unit induces flow of the exhaust gas by forming a large round. An angle between the second and sixth runner pipes is 40 degree downward. Thereby, the exhaust manifold exactly controls fuel ratio by improving the oxygen sensor through changing the left and right banks. Moreover, the exhaust manifold increases an engine idle while reducing emission.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A crank case pressure control apparatus of an engine for a vehicle is provided to maintain an inner pressure of a crank case in a negative state by activating forcibly an actuator if an inner pressure of the crank case pressure is maintained in a positive state. CONSTITUTION: A crank case pressure control apparatus comprises a first pressure detecting section(10), a second pressure detecting section(20), a control section(30), a memory section(40) and an actuator(50). The first pressure control detecting section(10) detects pressure information of atmosphere from air pressure induced from the outside and outputs a signal corresponding thereto. The second pressure detecting section(20) is provided in a position of the crank case, detects inner pressure information of the crank case and outputs the signal corresponding thereto. The control section(30) controls all operation to maintain an inner pressure of the crank case after analyzing the detected pressure information if an inner pressure of the crank case pressure is maintained in a positive state. The memory section(40) set a map data to form the inner pressure in the negative pressure state if an inner pressure is maintained in a positive state. The actuator(50) is so activated to be formed the inner pressure in the negative pressure state by driving according to the signal applied from the control section(30).
