Abstract: PURPOSE: A variable geometry turbo charger of a vehicle is provided to reduce the boost pressure by increasing the open degree of a vane of a variable geometry turbine and to improve responsiveness by reducing the responding time. CONSTITUTION: A pressure control valve(26) is installed in a compressor(18) of a variable geometry turbo charger. The pressure control valve reduces the boost pressure by controlling opening and closing depending on the boost pressure and adjusts the open degree of a vane of a variable geometry turbine(16) by supplying the boost pressure to a vacuum actuator(14) in the open state. Therefore, the overshoot of the boost pressure due to the application of excessive vacuum pressure to the vacuum actuator is prevented.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A double mass flywheel using a cam-link structure is provided to obtain fluctuating angle of a double mass flywheel by plus or minus 80 degrees and to reduce torsional vibration produced during changing of torque. CONSTITUTION: In a double flywheel equipped with a first(1) and second mass by supported by a bearing, and plural springs installed between the first and second mass, a double mass flywheel using a cam-link structure comprises a cam drive(2), roller guides(3a,3b), plural rotating links(5a,5b,5c,5d), plural rollers(4a,4b), and plural compression springs(7a,7b,7c,d). The cam drive is installed between the first and second mass and is coupled with the second mass. The plural rotating links are installed at the ends of the roller guide and adhered to a hinge fixed to the first mass. The plural rollers are adhered at the other ends of the connecting links(6a,6b,6c,6d) coupled to the rotating and stuck fast to the periphery of the cam drive. The compression springs are connected to the first mass and to the free end of the rotating link and the compression springs elastically sticks the rollers fast to the periphery of the cam drive. Therefore, torsional vibration is absorbed and the vibration noise is of the transmission is reduced.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A reduction gear using compressed air of a compressor is provided to properly reduce a velocity by spraying compressed air from the compressor. CONSTITUTION: A driving gear(3) is installed in a vehicle axis(2) rotating and driving wheels(1) through a synchronous engaging device(6) connected to an operating lever(5) through a link(4). The driving gear is connected to a vehicle body or idled according to the operating lever. A driven gear(7) engaged with the driving gear, has a compressor(8) for compressing air in a gear shaft. A nozzle(9) is installed in the compressor to splay compressed air. When the driving gear is connected to the vehicle body by the operating gear, the driving gear is rotated by the power applied from the vehicle shaft. The rotating power of the driving gear is transmitted to the compressor through the driven gear. The compressor sprays compressed air by the nozzle, and thus the velocity is reduced properly.
