An efficient brake system for a fuel cell vehicle includes a response pressure sensor(12), an ECU(Electronic Control Unit)(13), and an MCU(Motor Control Unit)(11). The response pressure sensor senses a response pressure to step on a brake pedal. The ECU determines whether or not the brake operates through a sensing signal of the response pressure sensor. The MCU controls a brake motor(14) according to an operation signal of the brake transmitted from the ECU.
