    Abstract: The direct dosing of aqueous solutions with acrolein as a microbiocide is problematic because of the associated laborious safety measures and the hitherto known use of reaction mixtures from the deacetalisation has proven not to be very economical. … According to the invention, aqueous solutions can be dosed in a simple, safe and economical manner with acrolein at a sufficient concentration level to be active as a biocide by cleaving acrolein acetals in the aqueous phase in the presence of a strongly acid deacetalisation catalyst into acrolein and the alcohol component, continuously removing the resulting acrolein from the deacetalisation mixture and transferring the acrolein into the aqueous solution to be dosed using an inert gas stream or a liquid jet pump with the aqueous solution to be dosed as the jet liquid.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a continuous process for preparing triallyl isocyanurate (TAIC), comprising rearrangement of triallyl cyanurate (TAC) in the presence of a Cu salt at a temperature of at least 90 degrees Celsius, wherein TAC and a Cu2+ salt are introduced continuously in an amount of 0.01 to 1 per cent by weight of Cu2+, based on TAC, separately from one another or in the form of a mixture comprising these components, into a TAIC-containing reaction mixture which has been formed at at least by 90 degrees Celsius by rearrangement of TAC in the presence of a Cu2+ salt and has not been cooled below 90 degrees Celsius thereafter, the rearrangement is performed under these conditions while maintaining a temperature in the range of 90 to 160 degrees Celsius and an amount of reaction mixture corresponding to the addition is discharged continuously and TAIC is isolated therefrom.

    Abstract: La invención está dirigida a un proceso mejorado, relializable eficazmente para preparar isocianurato de trialilo (TAIC) mediante la transposición catalizada por Cu2+- de cianurato de trialilo (TAC) a por lo menos 90ºC. De conformidad con la invención, TAC y si se requiere, también un catalizador de Cu2+ y solvente son alimentados continuamente a una mezcla de reacción de partida después del inicio de la reacción de isomerización inhibida inicialmente, la isomerización es realizada a desde 90 hasta 160ºC y una cantidad de mezcla de reacción equivalente a la cantidad de reactivo es retirada continuamente y enviada al tratamiento final. Se da preferencia a llevar a cabo la isomerización en TAIC como la reacción media.
