    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a centrifugal blower used for an air conditioner or the like enabling the center-of-gravity position of an impeller to coincide with a rotational center position without fitting a balance weight or the like for adjusting the center-of-gravity position in addition to reducing the frequency expressed by the product of the number of blades and the rotational frequency of the impeller and the noise of the higher harmonic components. CONSTITUTION:An impeller is formed of plural blades 9, a main plate 10 with the blades 9 fixed thereto, and a side plate fixed to the anti-main plate side end face of the blade 9. The blades 9 are installed at equal spaces apart. The main plate 10 is provided with plural motor cooling air holes 12, and the motor cooling air holes are disposed at nonuniform spaces apart.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce blowing noise due to turbulence and to improve blowing performance by tilting the outer peripheral part of a blade backward in the anti-rotating direction on the same height, whereby an air flow on the suction surface side in the outer peripheral part of the blade is restrained and prevented from colliding with an air flow on the pressure surface side. CONSTITUTION:A blower 1 comprises an impeller 3 formed by arranging plural blades 8 in the circumference of a hub 4 fitted to a motor 2. The outer peripheral part 8b on the discharge side of each blade 8 is enveloped in an orifice 6. In this case, the outer peripheral part 8b of each blade 8 is tilted backward in the anti-rotating direction on the same height. An air flow W1 having high flow velocity W1, which is blown off from the vicinity of the suction surface side 8b2 to the outer periphery in the outer peripheral part 8b is restrained, whereby the air flow W1 is prevented from colliding with an air flow W2 which wraps round the suction surface side 8b2 from the vicinity of the pressure surface side 8b1, and it is possible to avoid an air flow from being turbulent in the outer periphery of the blade 8 not enveloped in the orifice 6. Thus, it is possible to accomplish lowering of blowing noise and improvement in blowing performance.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce blowing noise and to improve blowing performance by forming notches on the delivery side of each of blades provided in plural on the outer circumference of a hub mounted on a motor and by inserting rings in the almost cylindrical state supported by the delivery side of the impeller into these notches. CONSTITUTION:An axial blower 12 is provided with an impeller 14 consisting of a plurality of blades 13 on the periphery of a hub 4 mounted to a motor 2 and an orifice 6 surrounding the outer circumference of a delivery side 13c of the blade 13, and notches are formed on the outer circumference of each of the plurality of blades 13. Also, a cylinder 15 is provided that is located at the delivery side 13c of the blade 13 and one of the suction side is inserted into the notch of blade 13, and it is fixed to the orifice 16 by a supporting plate 16. By this, when the blower is operated in the condition that ventilation resistance is higher than the design operation point, a part of air flow flowing from the suction side and the outer circumference side of the blade is prevented from reversing to the pressurizing side and negative pressure side of the blade 13 on the outer circumference of the delivery side of the blade 13.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To suppress the increase of the blowing noise and the deterioration of the blowing faculty by constituting a blower so that the inner peripheral side of a ring is inserted into the cut part of a blade. CONSTITUTION:The inner peripheral side of a ring 15 is inserted into the cut part of the blade 13 of a blade wheel 14. Accordingly, if a blower 12 is operated under the condition where the ventilation resistance is higher than the designed operation point, the air stream directing to the suction side 13a of the blade 13 in the vicinity of the suction side 6a of an orifice 6 is separated from the air stream which flows from the outer periphery at the outer peripheral part 13b of the blade 13, and the phenomenon that collision occurs and the stream is disturbed is suppressed. Further, a portion of the air stream flows along the ring 15, and the air stream flowing from the outer periphery of the blade 13 is formed again, and the air is sucked into the blade wheel 14, and the fluid loss is reduced. Accordingly, when the blower 12 is operated under the condition having the higher ventilation resistance than that in the designed operation, the increase of the blowing noise of the blower 12 is suppressed, and the deterioration of the blowing faculty can be suppressed.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To suppress the blowing noise by installing an impeller having a plurality of blades, orifice surrounding the outer periphery on the discharge side of the blade, and a plate shaped rib installed on the negative pressure surface side at the outer peripheral edge part of the blade which is not surrounded by the orifice. CONSTITUTION:A plate shaped rib 8a whose height increases successively from the suction side 5a to the discharge side 5c of a blade 5 is installed on the negative pressure surface side of the outer peripheral edge part 5b of the blade 5 which is not surrounded by an orifice 6. Accordingly, the blow-out of the air stream which is disturbed and has a high speed of air stream from the vicinity of the negative pressure surface side on the outer peripheral part 5b of the blade 5 to the outer periphery of an impeller 3 which is not surrounded by the orifice 6 is suppressed. Accordingly, the disturbance of the air stream which blows out to the outer periphery from the vicinity of the pressure surface side of the outer peripheral part 5b is prevented, and the air stream smoothly flows into the center between the blades from the outer periphery, and the disturbance of the air stream on the outer periphery is suppressed. Accordingly, the increase of the blowing noise due to the disturbance of the stream on the outer peripheral side of the blade 5 can be suppressed.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To restrain turbulence on the outer peripheral side of an impeller so as to reduce air blowing noise by forming an annular orifice disposed around the impeller with a discharge port gradually enlarged toward the discharge direction, and forming a through hole of a small diameter all over the surface of the discharge port of the orifice. CONSTITUTION:An axial fan 1 is provided with an impeller 2 having a plurality of blades 4 around a hub 3, and an annular orifice 7 is disposed around the impeller 2. The orifice 7 is constituted of a bell mouth-like suction port 7a and a discharge port 7b having an inner diameter gradually enlarged from the minimum inner diameter of the suction port 7a toward the discharge direction side. A through hole 8 having a small diameter is formed all over the surface of the discharge port 7b of the orifice 7. Consequently, it is possible to restrain turbulence caused by a backflow on the outer peripheral side of the impeller 2, and to attenuate a pressure pulse included in an air flow when a part of a high pressure air flow inside the orifice 7 is sucked to the through hole 8 for passing therein so that a total quantity of pressure pulse energy of the air flow around the discharge port 7b of the orifice 7 is decreased, thus reducing turbulence noise.

Since the gap between the outer circumference 2c of the blade and the blowing-out port of the orifice is not widened, and also the positive pressure side and the negative pressure side of the blade 2b are not exposed, back flow can be prevented, and the reduction in performance and the increase in noise can be restrained.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To restrain an increase in air blowing noise due to turbulence and reduce a size of a fan chamber by constituting an axial fan of the fan chamber, an impeller and an orifice, and specifying the radius of curvature of the tip end on the suction side of the orifice. CONSTITUTION:An axial fan comprises a fan chamber 2, an impeller 7 disposed substantially in the center of an almost square panel 4 on a blowing out side inside the fan chamber 2, and an orifice 9 formed around the impeller 7. The radius of curvature of the tip end 9a on the suction side of the orifice 9 is set at the minimum value R1 in the center on each short side of the upper, lower, right and left sides of the almost square panel on the blowing out side and at the maximum value R2 in the diagonal portion. Therefore, separation of an air current in the vicinity of the orifice can be prevented, an increase in air blowing noise due to turbulence can be restrained, and the fan chamber can be reduced in size.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent blast noise by providing a suction port in the suction side surface of a hub and a plurality of holes in the hub side of the negative pressure surface side of the blade and providing an auxiliary blade on the inside surface of the hub in association with these holes in an impeller having a plurality of blades fixed to the outer periphery of an approximately cylindrical hub. CONSTITUTION:The impeller 8 of an axial blower has a plurality of blades 2 fixed to the outer periphery of an approximately cylindrical hollow hub 3 which is provided with a suction port 4 on its suction side surface 3a while provided with a plurality of holes 5 formed in the hub side surface 3b on the negative pressure surface side 2e of the blade 2. Auxiliary blades 9 are disposed on the inner peripheral side wall surface 3c of the hub side surface 3b provided with the hole 5... to be formed in a row of blades of a multiblade blower. Thus, at the rotation of the impeller 8, air is sucked from the suction port 4 into the hub 3 and discharged forcibly from a plurality of the holes 5 toward the negative surface side 2e of the blade 2 by the centrifugal blast action of the auxiliary blade 9 to prevent the air flow from exfoliation on the negative surface side 2e and restrain the increase of blast noise along with the turulence of flow caused by the exfoliation.
