    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively eliminate large and small vortexes which are generated at the blade edges by the drifting of air flow passing through an impeller, and to suppress the deterioration of aerodynamic force performance and increase of noise caused by an eddy flow. SOLUTION: Two platy mouse rings 8 and 9 comparting a suction side and a discharge side at the outer periphery of the impeller, and an outer wall 10 surrounding the outer periphery of the mouse rings are provided, and a turning flow circulating space 11 having an opening 12 opposed to the blade of the impeller 7 is provided between the above mouse rings 8 and 9. Since the cross section area of the turning flow circulating space 11 is different over the whole circumference, when the air flow passing through the impeller is drifted, the large and small vortexes which are generated at the blade edges are effectively eliminated by large and small turning flow circulating spaces 11 acting as air circulation passages, and thus, the deterioration of aerodynamic force performance and the increase of noise caused by the eddy flow can be suppressed.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the occurrence of a revolving component in a radially spreading air flow passage air duct, to suppress development of a disturbance boundary layer in the vicinity of the wall surface of a guide simultaneously with deviation of it to a radial component, and to suppress the increase of fluid noise in the air flow passage air duct simultaneously with suppression of deterioration of hydrostatic pressure characteristics and hydrostatic pressure efficiency. SOLUTION: An air flow having a strong revolution component (a peripheral direction) from a blade 5 suppresses the revolution component of an air flow in the vicinity of the guide wall surfaces 7a and 8a by forming a plurality of radial ribs 10 and 11 on the guide wall surfaces 7a and 8a of an air flow passage air duct 9 and deviates it to a radial component. An air flow in the air flow passage air duct 9 is also attracted by its viscosity, the revolving component is suppressed and deviated to the radial component. A disturbance boundary layer in the vicinity of the wall surfaces 7a and 8a of first and second guides 7 and 8 suppresses development.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain both of increases of the turbulent flow noise of a fan and hydraulic noise generated from a fan guard by restraining the turbulence as well as the speed increase of discharging air flow by the outer periphery of impellers. SOLUTION: In the parts wherein distances between an impeller 6a and the side wall 11 of a fan room are small, the axial components of outer peripheral air flow of vanes 6b are strong and the outer peripheral air flows flow near the wall surfaces of orifices whereby the increase of flow speed is restrained by the outer periphery of the discharging sides of the vanes 6b, the disturbance of discharging air flow is reduced and the inflow of reverse flow inbetween the vanes is restrained by first and second arced walls 14, 15 thereby reducing disturbance due to mixing of the reverse flow into the discharging air flow. In this case, the bias flow of the discharging air flow is restrained and the increase of flow speed is prevented by substantially bell- mouth type air outlet parts 16 at the parts whereat a distance between the side wall 12 of the fan room is big while the speed of the discharging air flow, in which the disturbance is generated upon mixing of the reverse flow into the high-speed discharging air flow, is reduced whereby the disturbance due to the discharging air flow and the reverse flow will not be generated in the whole periphery of the fan 6 but will be generated locally.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To average air stream, discharged out of an impeller wheel, from the inner peripheral part to the outer peripheral part of the impeller wheel without generating the collision of air streams in an orifice ring and without biasing to the outer peripheral part of the impeller wheel by a method wherein the discharging part of orifice ring is expanded suddenly toward the outer peripheral direction of the impeller wheel. SOLUTION: An orifice ring 16 is fixed at the tip end of a vane 17 for the outer peripheral part of an impeller wheel 15 while the orifice ring 16 is provided with the shape of bell mouth in the rotating direction of the impeller wheel 15 from a contacting part between the tip end of the vane at the outer peripheral part of the impeller wheel 15 and the orifice ring 16 in a space between the vanes 17 of the impeller wheel 15. On the other hand, a clearance exists between the vane 17 and the orifice ring 16 in a direction opposite to the rotating direction of the impeller wheel 15 while the suction part 16a of the orifice ring 16 is contracted gradually in the inner peripheral direction of the impeller wheel 15 from the suction side of the suction part 16a of the orifice ring 16 toward the discharging side of the same to expand the discharging part 16b of the orifice ring 16 suddenly toward the outer peripheral direction of the impeller wheel 15.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the break away of the air flow from an upper edge of an impeller on a negative pressure face of the impeller, and the increase of the disorder, and to unify the distribution of an air flow speed at an outlet of the impeller, by inclining the upper edge part of the impeller in a rotating direction of the impeller. SOLUTION: An impeller 10 of a centrifugal blower, comprises plural blades 11, a main plate 12 for fixing the blades 11, and a side plate 13 having an inlet port, and fixed to a side edge face at a side opposite to the main plate, of the blades, and a motor 5 and a heat exchanger 6 are stored and fixed in a easing 7 with the impeller 10. An inlet ring 8 is curved from an inlet edge part 8a to an outlet edge part 8b, and the outlet edge part 8b is inserted into a side plate 13 of the impeller 10. A diameter of the inlet port of the side plate 13, is larger than an inlet diameter of the impeller, and an upper edge part of the impeller 11 is inclined in a rotating direction of the impeller 10. Thereby the inflow air current can be surely attached to the blade negative pressure faces even under the high hydrostatic pressure condition, and the lowering of the blowing performance, and the increase of the turbulent noise can be prevented.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress both blowing noises from a blower and fluid noises generated from a fan guard in a blower adopted to an air conditioner or the like by suppressing large peel-off of air flow at a negative pressure surface of a vane, and also suppressing a speed increase of a discharged air flow. SOLUTION: A sectional shape of a vane 12 at its same diameter cylindrical section on the hub side 12c is rounded on the side of a front edge 12a to form a wing-like shape. A sectional area of the vane 12 at its same diameter cylindrical section on the outer peripheral side is evenly thin. It is thus possible to prevent large peel-off of air inflow from the front edge 12a, and increase of discharged air velocity from a discharge side 12b of the vane 12. It is also possible to suppress turbulance of discharged air flow when it passes a linear nember of a tan guard. It is possible to suppress both blowing noises due to peel-off on the negative pressure surface side of the vane 12 and fluid noises generated from the fan guard.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent a decrease of the quantity of let-out air and an increase of noise by a method wherein a distance between the center of louver and the wall surface on the outer periphery side of the main body of an outlet is made to be in the range of a prescribed multiple of the opening width of the outlet and the main body or a part of the main body is buried in the ceiling. CONSTITUTION:In a range wherein a set angle theta of a louver 9 is smaller than an angle beta of deflection of an outlet, the center (a) of the louver is positioned inside the outlet 10, the windward-side fore end (b) of the louver is made to be on the leeward of the boundary (d) of a deflected air passage of the outlet and a joining part of the outlet, the leeward-side fore end (c) of the louver is made to be on the leeward of an outlet opening (e), a set distance H of the louver is made to be in the range of being 0.45 to 0.5 times as large as the opening width D of the outlet, and a part of the main body is buried in the ceiling. While a usual operation of a let-out air flow sticking on the wall surface 5a of the ceiling at the time of lateral setting of a blowing direction is maintained, according to this constitution, a setting position of the louver is brought near to the wall surface 10a on the outer periphery side of the main body of the outlet 10 under the condition of lateral-downward resetting of the blowing direction. Thereby hindrance to the let-out air flow is reduced and an increase of a draft resistance of the outlet 10 can be suppressed.
