    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress deterioration of aerodynamic and noise performance in a low ventilation resistance condition, and suppress aerodynamic performance in a high ventilation resistance condition to cope with action point conditions largely changed based on operation conditions in addition to equipment installation conditions in a blower of an axial flow type or the like to be mounted on equipment. SOLUTION: For a blower 13, in a low ventilation resistance condition, an air current flows blades, and a main component of the air current is an axial direction component, so it flows from the outer circumferential side 5d of a blade 5 roughly in an axial direction to be blown along an inner wall surface on the discharge side 16 of an orifice 14. In a high ventilation resistance condition, the axial direction component of the air current is reduced between blades, but a radial direction component is increased to be discharged from the blade 5, so it flows toward the discharge side 16 of the orifice 14 to pass a groove 17 provided on the discharge side 16, thereby the air current colliding with the inner wall surface on the discharge side 16 to be inhibited is reduced.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress deterioration of blast performance of an impeller and the increase of blast noise thereof, in a centrifugal blower used in an air- conditioner. SOLUTION: In the vicinity of an inner wall surface which is enlarged from the minimum inside diameter of the outlet end part 7b of a suction ring 7 to a radial direction by arranging a plate-form ring 8 in the vicinity of the inner wall of the outlet end part 7b of a suction ring 7, a suction air flow is forcibly adhered to the outlet end part 7b of the suction ring 7 by the plate-form guide ring 8. An air flow flows from the outlet end part 7b toward the suction part end part 4a of a side plate 4 and after the air flow is adhered to the suction part end part 4a once and flows in. This constitution suppresses peel of the air flow on the wall surface of the side plate 4.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a propeller fan which can reduce generation of noise when the fan is rotated. SOLUTION: A propeller fan is formed by radially providing a plurality of sheets of blades 1. R1 is assumed for the center in a circumferential direction in a root part 2 of the blade 1, and R2 is assumed for the center in a circumferential direction in a peripheral part of the blade 1. When O is assumed for the center of rotation of the blade 1, an angle formed between a line connecting O to R1 and a line connecting O to R2 is 18 to 22 deg., a line P connecting R1 to R2 is tilted to a suction side at an angle of 22 to 27 deg. to a surface S vertical to a rotary shaft passing through R1 , and a curved point 4 is provided in a blade section, in a sectional shape in a circumferential direction of the blade 1. The blade 1 is formed so that a delivery side is a protrusive surface into a protrusive shape from a leading edge in a rotational direction of the blade 1 to the curved point 4 and the delivery side is a recessed surface into a recessed shape from the curved point 4 to a trailing edge in a rotational direction of the blade 1.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To suppress air flow blown off to the outer periphery from the pressure face side and inhibit the degradation of blowing performance, the separation of flow on the discharge side and the increase of blowing noise. CONSTITUTION:In a blower 1, a hub 4 is fitted to a motor 2, an impeller 3 formed of plural blades 5 is disposed around the hub 4, and the outer periphery of the blade 5 is surrounded by an orifice 6. In this case, the pressure face side 5b1 in the outer peripheral part 5b of the blade 5 is additionally provided with a protruding part 8 of approximately triangular cross section in the radial direction. The action of the protruding part 8 suppresses air flow W2 blown off to the outer periphery from the pressure face side 5b1 and prevents the air flow W2 from obstructing the air flow W1 on the negative pressure face side 5b2. The action of the protruding part 8 also restrains flow from becoming large at the outer periphery on the negative pressure face side 5b2 of an outer peripheral part 5b, not surrounded by the orifice 6, of the blade 5 and suppresses the separation of flow on the discharge side 5c.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce blowing noise due to turbulence and to improve blowing performance by tilting the outer peripheral part of a blade backward in the anti-rotating direction on the same height, whereby an air flow on the suction surface side in the outer peripheral part of the blade is restrained and prevented from colliding with an air flow on the pressure surface side. CONSTITUTION:A blower 1 comprises an impeller 3 formed by arranging plural blades 8 in the circumference of a hub 4 fitted to a motor 2. The outer peripheral part 8b on the discharge side of each blade 8 is enveloped in an orifice 6. In this case, the outer peripheral part 8b of each blade 8 is tilted backward in the anti-rotating direction on the same height. An air flow W1 having high flow velocity W1, which is blown off from the vicinity of the suction surface side 8b2 to the outer periphery in the outer peripheral part 8b is restrained, whereby the air flow W1 is prevented from colliding with an air flow W2 which wraps round the suction surface side 8b2 from the vicinity of the pressure surface side 8b1, and it is possible to avoid an air flow from being turbulent in the outer periphery of the blade 8 not enveloped in the orifice 6. Thus, it is possible to accomplish lowering of blowing noise and improvement in blowing performance.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce blowing noise and to improve blowing performance by forming notches on the delivery side of each of blades provided in plural on the outer circumference of a hub mounted on a motor and by inserting rings in the almost cylindrical state supported by the delivery side of the impeller into these notches. CONSTITUTION:An axial blower 12 is provided with an impeller 14 consisting of a plurality of blades 13 on the periphery of a hub 4 mounted to a motor 2 and an orifice 6 surrounding the outer circumference of a delivery side 13c of the blade 13, and notches are formed on the outer circumference of each of the plurality of blades 13. Also, a cylinder 15 is provided that is located at the delivery side 13c of the blade 13 and one of the suction side is inserted into the notch of blade 13, and it is fixed to the orifice 16 by a supporting plate 16. By this, when the blower is operated in the condition that ventilation resistance is higher than the design operation point, a part of air flow flowing from the suction side and the outer circumference side of the blade is prevented from reversing to the pressurizing side and negative pressure side of the blade 13 on the outer circumference of the delivery side of the blade 13.
