Abstract: Systems and methodologies are described that facilitate employing flexible signaling of resource block assignments on a control channel. Resource blocks associated with an uplink or downlink channel can be split into a plurality of groups, and group-specific signaling constraints can be utilized with each of these groups. For example, the group-specific signaling constraints can relate to minimum resource block allocation units, signaling structures (e.g., bitmap structure, contiguous allocation structure, tree-based structure, ...), and the like utilized for sending assignment indications that allocate resource blocks within the respective groups. Further, an access terminal can have a common understanding of the group-specific signaling constraints; thus, a received assignment indication can be deciphered by the access terminal by utilizing the group-specific signaling constraints.

Abstract: Systems and methodologies are described that facilitate performing antenna virtualization in a wireless communication environment. A set of physical transmit antennas can be partitioned into a plurality of groups of physical transmit antennas. Further, a precoding vector for a particular group of physical transmit antennas from the plurality of groups of physical transmit antennas can be formulated. Moreover, the particular group of physical transmit antennas can form a particular virtual antenna. By way of another example, a disparate precoding vector for a disparate group of physical transmit antennas from the plurality of groups of physical transmit antennas can be formulated, and the disparate group of physical transmit antennas can form a disparate virtual antenna. The precoding vector can be applied to a signal for transmission over the particular virtual antenna, and the disparate precoding vector can be applied to a disparate signal for transmission over the disparate virtual antenna.

Abstract: A UE may determine a number of resources granted for uplink or downlink communication in a processing window. The resources may include uplink resources or downlink resources and the processing windows may include a predetermined number of subframes. For uplink (UL) transmissions, this may include determining a number of transport block bits, resource blocks, or other resources scheduled in one or more first UL channel grants for a first UL channel, and determining a number of such resources scheduled in a second UL grant for a second UL channel. For downlink (DL) transmissions, the determining may include determining a number of resources received on a first DL channel in each subframe of a set of subframes, and determining a number of resources received on a second DL channel. The determined number of UL or DL resources may be compared to a corresponding threshold which his based on the UE capabilities and processed in accordance a result of the comparison. Abstract: A method, an apparatus, and a computer program product for wireless communication are provided. The apparatus may identify a potential collision between a scheduled legacy transmission time interval (TTI) communication and a scheduled shortened TTI (sTTI) communication, the legacy TTI communication having a legacy TTI duration that is longer than an sTTI duration associated with the sTTI communication. The apparatus may determine whether the legacy TTI communication is within a threshold time of being transmitted. The apparatus may transmit at least one of the sTTI communication, the legacy TTI communication, or any combination thereof, based at least in part on the determination.
