    Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for communication. In an aspect, gNB may report antenna configuration and table that maps antenna element(s) to phase shift and/or amplitude shift to a position estimation entity (PDE). The PDE may derive beam shape based on the reported information. In another aspect, gNB may report transformation information by which a first beam shape of a first beam is transformed into a second beam shape of a second beam. The PDF may derive the second beam shape of the second beam based in part upon the transformation information.

    Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for wireless positioning. In an aspect, a first network node performs a reception-to-transmission (Rx-Tx) time difference measurement, the Rx-Tx time difference measurement representing a difference between a reception time of at least one first positioning reference signal (PRS) from a second network node and a transmission time of at least one second PRS to the second network node, and transmits, to a positioning entity, based on a value of the Rx-Tx time difference measurement being greater than a threshold, a measurement report including a first value and a second value representing the value of the Rx-Tx time difference measurement, wherein the first value is a quotient value resulting from dividing the value of the Rx-Tx time difference measurement by the threshold, and wherein the second value is a remainder value resulting from dividing the value of the Rx-Tx time difference measurement by the threshold.

    Abstract: Techniques are provided for signaling timing error group (TEG) updates for positioning. An example method for providing transmit and receive timing error group pairs to a wireless node includes obtaining a plurality of reference signal measurement values and associated timing error group information from the wireless node, selecting at least a first receive timing error group and a first set of transmit timing error groups based on the timing error group information associated with the plurality of reference signal measurement values, and providing an indication of the first receive timing error group and an indication of the first set of transmit timing error groups.

    Abstract: A user equipment (UE) obtains assistance data for positioning from one or more sidelink connected UEs. Prior to sending the assistance data for positioning to the UE, the sidelink UE(s) revises the assistance data, e.g., by reprioritizing, reordering, or reducing the assistance data, or a combination thereof. By revising the assistance data the sidelink UE(s) provides the most pertinent assistance data to the UE, thereby increasing power savings for the UE. Where multiple sidelink UEs provide revised assistance data to the UE, the UE combines the revised assistance data, e.g., based on measurement information, range information, or priority of the sidelink UEs. If the UE has a connection to the location server, the UE obtains revised assistance data from sidelink UE(s) to avoid the need for an assistance data exchange with the location server during the positioning session, thereby improving latency.

An example method for requesting positioning reference signals includes receiving positioning assistance data including a plurality of positioning reference signal configurations, determining potential signal collisions based at least in part on transmit time and duration information in the plurality of positioning reference signal configurations, generating a positioning reference signal configuration request based at least in part on the potential signal collisions, and transmitting the positioning reference signal configuration request.
