    Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a user equipment (UE) maintains timing information for each of a plurality of beam pairs, each beam pair comprising a downlink (DL) beam pair, comprising a base station transmit beam and a UE receive beam or a sidelink (SL) beam pair, comprising a UE transmit beam and a UE receive beam. The UE measures a first reference signal using a first beam pair from the plurality of beam pairs, measures a second reference signal using a second beam pair from the plurality of beam pairs, and reports, to a transmitting entity, beam timings for the first beam pair and the second beam pair. The measuring steps, the reporting step, or both, are performed according to the timing information for the first beam pair and the second beam pair.

    Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for communication. In an aspect, gNB may report antenna configuration and table that maps antenna element(s) to phase shift and/or amplitude shift to a position estimation entity (PDE). The PDE may derive beam shape based on the reported information. In another aspect, gNB may report transformation information by which a first beam shape of a first beam is transformed into a second beam shape of a second beam. The PDF may derive the second beam shape of the second beam based in part upon the transformation information.

    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for adaptive node activation and configuration in cooperative sensing. A method that may be performed by a sensing management function (SnMF) entity includes receiving a first radio frequency (RF) sensing request, from a first entity, for scanning an environment to detect at least a first object, initiating a first RF sensing session in the environment in response to the first RF sensing request, receiving a second RF sensing request, from a second entity, for scanning the environment to detect at least a second object during the first RF sensing session, accommodating the second RF sensing request using output from the first RF sensing session, wherein the first RF sensing session is ongoing, detecting the first and second objects in the environment, and transmitting information about the detected first and second object to the first and second entity, respectively.

    Abstract: A signal measuring method includes: receiving, at a user equipment, first positioning assistance data having a first area of applicability and a first positioning assistance data profile; storing the first positioning assistance data at the user equipment; determining, at the user equipment, that second positioning assistance data correspond to the first positioning assistance data based on the first area of applicability including a second area of applicability, of the second positioning assistance data, and based on a second positioning assistance data profile of the second positioning assistance data corresponding to the first positioning assistance data profile; and measuring, at the user equipment, a positioning signal corresponding to the second area of applicability using the first positioning assistance data in response to determining that the second positioning assistance data correspond to the first positioning assistance data.
