Abstract:
The invention relates to a massage device for massaging the back of a human body. The inventive device comprises a toilet lid (1) that is provided with a vibration device. Said vibration device comprises flat massage pads (7, 8, 9) that are activated by a plurality, preferably two to eight independently operating motors.
Abstract:
A physical therapy device comprising a supporting column (12), an arm (26), means (18) for rotatably and pivotally mounting the arm from the column, a harness (60), means (50) for suspending the harness from the arm and a walkway (66,70) extending around the supporting column and defined generally beneath the harness as the arm moves about its rotational mounting to the supporting column (12).
Abstract:
The invention relates to a clitoris (12) stimulation apparatus (1) with improved ergonomics and comprising: a pressure field generating device (2) having a drive unit (6) and a hollow space (10), the drive unit (6) being capable of periodically generating a pressure field with alternating positive and negative pressures in the hollow space (10) when the drive unit varies the volume of the hollow space (10), said hollow space (10) having an opening (42) which can be placed on the clitoris (12); a control device (7) designed to control the drive unit (6); and a sensor device (78) designed to detect when the stimulation apparatus (1) comes close to the clitoris (12) or, alternatively, when the stimulation apparatus (1) comes into contact with the clitoris (12), and designed to output an activation signal to the control device (7) upon detection of any approximation or contact. The control device (7) is designed such that the drive unit (6) is activated in the presence of an activation signal. The pressure field generating device (2), the control device (7) and the sensor device (78) are accommodated in a housing (8) of the stimulation apparatus (1) and the stimulation apparatus (1) is designed as a portable handheld appliance.
Abstract:
The foot comprises three rigid foot segments, namely a middle foot segment arranged to be connected to a leg of the robotic exoskeleton, a front foot segment elastically connected to the front end of the middle foot segment by means of a first set of leaf springs, and a rear foot segment elastically connected to the rear end of the middle foot segment by means of a second set of leaf springs. The foot is preferably configured in such a manner that in the condition where the front foot segment and the rear foot segment are both in contact with the ground, and no load is applied onto the foot, the middle foot segment is not in contact with the ground, but is elastically suspended by means of the first and second sets of springs.
Abstract:
A vibration module for applying vibrational tractions to a wearer's skin is presented. Use of the vibration module in headphones is illustrated for providing tactile sensations of low frequency for music, for massage, and for electrical recording and stimulation of the wearer. Damped, planar, electromagnetically-actuated vibration modules of the moving magnet type are presented in theory and reduced to practice, and shown to provide a substantially uniform frequency response over the range 40-200 Hz with a minimum of unwanted audio.
Abstract:
An exercising device includes a base, a rail, a swinging chair, and a swinging unit. The rail is pivotally disposed at the base by at least one pivoting point. The swinging chair is movably disposed on the rail. The swinging unit is disposed between the rail and the base. The swinging unit is for changing an angle between the rail and the base.
