Abstract:
An image forming apparatus and its control method are provided to prevent a print output of money from being used as a forgery while printing the original image of money in color as it is. A money reading unit(130) determines whether a reading target is money or not. A mode conversion unit(140) changes a print mode to a double-sided print mode. A printing unit(150) prints and outputs print data. If the reading target is money, an image forming controller(160) changes the print mode to the double-sided print mode and controls the printing unit to print forgery identification information indicating a money output is a forgery on one of front and rear surfaces of the money output and print the original image of money on the other surface and output the same.

Abstract in simplified Chinese:
Abstract:
Among other things, at a cloud-based service, digital image files are received from which digital images can be displayed on devices. For each of the digital image files, data is embedded in the digital image file on behalf of a party who has rights in the digital image file. The existence of the embedded data is not perceptible in any digital image that is displayed using the digital image file. The embedded data includes information from which the digital image file can be authenticated. At the cloud-based service, a digital image file is received that is to be authenticated. The digital image file is authenticated based on the embedded data.
Abstract:
Systems and methods for tracking a slide comprising a tissue sample. In an embodiment, data is received from a Laboratory Information System (LIS) barcode associated with a slide and a proprietary barcode generated by a slide staining system, such as a Ventana slide staining system, to track the slide through the staining process. A new label is printed that contains both the LIS barcode and the proprietary barcode, and is attached to the slide. When the slide is subsequently scanned by a slide scanning system, the slide scanning system reads and decodes the LIS barcode to obtain a LIS barcode value. The LIS barcode value may then be used to retrieve information associated with the slide.
Abstract:
Embodiments of techniques and systems for content protection and detection of protected media content are described. Visual tracking patterns may be displayed during rendering of protected media content that would be visible to a camcorder during recording. The visual tracking pattern may be placed in a background area or other less-active portion of the video in order to reduce perceptibility by a viewer. Audio tracking patterns may be inserted during rendering outside of the range of normal human hearing for reduced viewer perceptibility. The tracking patterns may encode media tracking codes that are included in to-be-rendered media during provision from a media server. Other embodiments may be described and claimed.
