Abstract:
An emulsion composition is provided to improve skin delivering capability and skin adhesion property of ceramide and enhance moisturizing capability and moisturization persistency of the ceramide by encapsulating a ceramide ingredient with excellent moisturizing capability, a main skin lipid ingredient, into a nano-sized capsule particle and then formulating the encapsulated ceramide ingredient into an emulsion. An emulsion composition comprises a ceramide capsule formulation including 1.0-10.0 wt.% of ceramide as a core, 3.0-30.0 wt.% of a wax matrix layer encapsulating the ceramide and 0.1-30 wt.% of a polymer layer encapsulating the wax matrix, wherein a diameter of the ceramide capsule is 10-1,000 nanometers. A skin cosmetic composition comprises the emulsion composition. A method for preparing the emulsion composition comprises the steps of: (a) after dissolving ceramide, wax and polymer by heating, dispersing the solution using a homogenizer to prepare a hydrophobic mixture; and (b) after dissolving aqueous phase raw materials by heating, gradually adding the hydrophobic mixture thereto to emulsify. Further, a phase of the wax is solid at a room temperature.

A cosmetic composition containing flavone is provided to show physiologically activating effects of flavone including inflammation-inhibiting effects on the skin without crystal extraction due to its low solubility by immobilizing it onto macromolecular composite particles. An anti-inflammatory cosmetic composition for preventing skin aging and skin wrinkles contains 0.0001-5 wt.% of flavone immobilized on the surface of the macromolecular composite particles, and is formulated as soft cosmetic water, astringent cosmetic water, nutrition cosmetic water, nutrition cream, massage cream, essence, eye cream, eye essence, cleansing cream, cleansing foam, cleansing water, pack, powder, body lotion, body cream, body oil or body essence, wherein the flavone is selected from apigenin, luteolin and diosmetin.

A cationic polymer nanocapsule comprising useful active ingredients and a cosmetic composition containing the same nanocapsule are provided to enhance the skin penetration of useful active ingredients having low skin penetration. A cationic polymer nanocapsule has the molecular weight of 5,000-100,000 dalton, surface potential of 5-100 Mv and particle size of 50-500 nm, and comprises at least one useful active ingredient selected from retinol, retinyl acetate, retinyl palmitate, alpha-tocopherol, tocopherol acetate, tocopheryl linoleate, tocopheryl nicotinate, linoleic acid, coenzyme Q-10, resveratrol, plant extract essential oil, ursolic acid, oleanolic acid, useful Glycyrrhiza uralensis and lipoic acid. Iron oxide/polymer colloidal nano-composites, a preparation process thereof, and cosmetic compositions containing the same nano-composites are provided to stably exhibit the magnetic properties of nano-composites by inhibiting the coagulation and precipitation of magnetic particles in cosmetic composition, so that blood circulation in the skin is promoted. The iron oxide/polymer colloidal nano-composites are provided, wherein iron oxide nano-particles are bound to the skin of the porous polymer particles, wherein the amount of iron oxide nano-particles is 0.001-30 wt.% based on the total weight of the polymer; the particle size of the porous polymer particles is 0.01-1,000mum; the surface area of the porous polymer particles is 10-1000 m^2/g; the porous polymer particles have pores of 1-10nm; and the porous polymer particles have functional groups for inducing deposition of iron oxide nano-particles. The iron oxide/polymer colloidal nano-composites are prepared by (1) dissolving monomer, cross-linking agent and initiating agent in solvent, (2) emulsifying the solution of step(1) in the presence of dispersion stabilizing agent, (3) polymerizing the emulsion prepared in step(2), removing solvent from the emulsion, and recovering the porous polymer particles, and (4) binding the iron oxide prepared by oxidizing the iron salt with an oxidizing agent to the surface of the porous polymer particles.
