PURPOSE: A device for providing information of a femto base station is provided to reduce a search amount in searching a femto cell of a terminal in a poly-hierarchy communication system. CONSTITUTION: A transceiver(310) has a function performing communication with a macro BS and a femto base station. A message processor(320) is connected to transceiver. The message processor processes a message. A storage(330) is connected to the message processor. The storage stores a white list(340) including at CSGID values related to one or more CSG(Closed Subscriber Group)s. A terminal(116) is subscribed to one or more CSGs.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A device and a method for controlling sleep cycle synchronization of a sleep mode in a wireless communication system are provided to check receiving of downlink traffic when a traffic indication message is not received, thereby controlling synchronization mismatch. CONSTITUTION: An RF(Radio Frequency) processing unit(1402) transmits and receives a signal through a wireless channel. A sleep cycle management unit(1408) manages a sleep cycle of at least one terminal. If a sleep control signaling request message is received from the terminal, a synchronization information generating unit(1410) generates synchronization information. A control unit(1406) transmits a sleep control signaling response message through a modem and the RF processing unit.

PURPOSE: A method for controlling a sleep mode operation in a communication system is provided to reduce the power consumption of an MS(Mobile Station) in a communication system by controlling a sleep mode between the MS and a BS(Base Station) through the activation of a timer. CONSTITUTION: A method for controlling a sleep mode operation in a communication system comprises the steps of: classifying a sleep mode into a listening interval and a sleep interval, wherein the listening and sleep intervals are classified by frame unit; transiting the mode of a mobile station(100) into a sleep mode when receiving a sleep mode request message from a base station; increase a timer initiation value one by one for each frame in an Nth frame; operating the mobile station at the sleep mode from an M+1th frame when the increased timer value reaches the preset critical value in the Mth frame.

PURPOSE: A device and a method for processing relayed data in a multi-hop relay broadband wireless access communication system are provided to supply a relay data format for relaying terminal data, thereby enabling a relay station to easily supply a relay service. CONSTITUTION: A wireless communication system uses multiple-hop relay. If relay communication supports 2 hops, a base station decides whether transmission data is lower terminal data of a relay station(709). The base station generates a packet of the first format with the transmission data when the transmission data is data of the relay station(713). The base station generates a packet of the second format with the transmission data when the transmission data is the lower terminal data of the relay station(711). The base station transmits the packet to the relay station. If the relay communication supports at least 2 hops, the base station generates a packet of the third format including end relay station information with the relay data(715).

PURPOSE: A device and a method for generating data for controlling an error in a wireless communication system are provided to reduce a wasted resource according to the size of MPDU(MAC Protocol Data Unit) in a physical layer by adding the MSDU(MAC Service Data Unit) information to the MPDU. CONSTITUTION: A MAC layer reconstructs at least one MAC layer service data unit received from an upper layer according to the scheduling information of the MAC layer. The MAC layer generates a data part of at least one MAC layer protocol data unit. The control information includes the information of at least one MSDU comprising the data part of the MPDU. An MPDU payload is generated by adding the control information to the data part of the MPDU. A common MAC header including the connection identifier information and the length information of the MPDU payload is added to each MPDU payload. An FPI(Fragmentation and Packing Indicator) includes information about a fixed field(300) and a variable field(310). The fixed field includes a sequence number, a FC field, and a LAST field. The variable field includes an LEN field and the LAST field.

PURPOSE: A terminal ID apparatus and a method thereof using a terminal ID including the information of a neighboring base station are provided to configure the terminal ID including the neighboring base station information. CONSTITUTION: A terminal ID configuration unit(1223) configures a temporal terminal ID using a terminal ID index from the serving base station and base station ID index for handover from a target base station. In case it handovers to the target base station, a controller(1220) uses the provisional terminal ID and controls in order to perform network reentry procedure to the target base station. PURPOSE: A system information transmitting device and method in the wireless telecommunications system to a terminal in a sleep mode are provided to transfer an operational mode through a delay. CONSTITUTION: If a transition request to a sleep mode is received, system information of a serving base station is stored(211-217). The present mode is transmitted to the sleep mode. The information directing the operation transition of the terminal is included in the paging message. The system information is as the system information of the base station transmitting the paging message(237).
