PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for transmitting multiple antenna having power constraint for each antenna are provided to transmit a signal using multiple antennae having a power constraint for each antenna. CONSTITUTION: A control unit(412) repetitively performs a precoding algorithm based on each antenna. The control unit sequentially updates a precoder for each of multiple antennae in each repetition. The control unit determines the precoding algorithm converges based on variation of data rate of transmission information through the overall repetition. If convergence of the precoding algorithm is determined, a precoding unit(406) precodes signals using the precoding algorithm. A plurality of the antennae transmits the precoded signals. CONSTITUTION: A mobile station (MS) receives at least one sector-level reference signal and a number of synchronous signals applied with different transmission space processing techniques, from at least one base station (602). The MS determines long-term CSI by using the synchronous signals and the sector-level reference signals. The MS determines at least one preferred slice in a sector for communication between the at least one base station and the MS, on the basis of the given CSI (603).
