PURPOSE: A composition containing syringaresinol is provided to suppress fatty acid synthesis, to promote fatty acid oxidation, to enhance PGC 1 expression, and to prevent and treat obesity and hyperlipidemia. CONSTITUTION: A composition for preventing or treating dysbolism contains 1-80 wt% of syringaresinol as an active ingredient. Dysbolism includes disorders of carbohydrate metabolism or lipid metabolism, selected from the group consisting of obesity, type 2 diabetes, hyperlipidemia, and fatty liver. CONSTITUTION: A composition for preventing or treating obesity contains 0.0001-10 wt% of Piper longum L. extract, 0.0001-10 wt% of isoflavone, and 0.001-40 wt% of L-carnitine as an active ingredient. The composition is used for suppressing neutral fat. A composition for treating or preventing hyperlipidemia contains the Piper longum L. extract, isoflavone, and L-carnitine as an active ingredient.

PURPOSE: A producing method of a red ginseng extract using a charcoal filtration system, and the red ginseng extract are provided to secure the excellent palatability of the red ginseng extract. CONSTITUTION: A producing method of a red ginseng extract comprises the following steps: passing water through a charcoal filtration system for obtaining charcoal filtration purified water; sterilizing the charcoal filtration purified water; and extracting active components of red ginseng using the charcoal filtration purified water. The charcoal filtration system includes charcoal selected from quercus acutissima charcoal, pinus densiflora charcoal, or bamboo charcoal. The extracting process is performed at 80~100deg C, and is repeated for 3~4times.

CONSTITUTION: A composition for relieving hangover contains post-fermented tea extract and chitooligosaccharide in a weight ratio of 1:1-1:5. The post-fermented tea extract is obtained using non-pathogenic microorganism such as Saccharomyces sp., Bacillus sp., or Aspergillus sp. A liver protective agent or fatigue recovery agent contains the composition.

PURPOSE: A method for verifying prediction about a yield and quality of a fresh red ginseng and red ginseng juice using a near-infrared-spectrum system is provided to verify a yield and quality in a short time through a correlation calibration curve. CONSTITUTION: A method for verifying prediction about a yield and quality of a fresh red ginseng and red ginseng juice using a near-infrared-spectrum system is as follows. Multiple fresh ginsengs are respectively measured using a near-infrared spectrum. The fresh ginsengs are processed to red ginsengs. Yields of the red ginsengs, red ginseng juice, ginsenoside contents, and moisture contents of the fresh ginsengs are measured. A correlation of a normal value and a spectrum is displayed as a calibration curve.

CONSTITUTION: Blood circulating agents and blood vessel relaxants are characterized by containing at least one kind of extracts of Anogeissus leiocarpus, Cnestis sp. and Drypetes molunduana and fractions thereof. The extracts are obtained by using methanol as an extraction solvent, filtering the extracts, concentrating the filtrates and drying them. A pharmaceutical composition contains at least one kind of the extracts of Anogeissus leiocarpus, Cnestis sp. and Drypetes molunduana.
