수동형 광가입자망에서 광 가입자 단말의 장애를 감지하기 위한 기술이 개시된다. 광 가입자 단말을 구성하는 광 모듈은 광신호를 출력하는 레이저 다이오드; 상기 레이저 다이오드를 구동시키 위한 레이저 다이오드 구동부; 상기 레이저 다이오드에서 출력되는 광신호를 전기적 신호로 변환하는 변환부; 상기 변환된 전기적 신호의 직류 성분을 제거하는 직류 성분 제거부; 및 상기 직류 성분 제거부로부터 출력된 전기적 신호를 분석하여 그 분석 결과에 따라 상기 레이저 다이오드 구동부를 비활성화시키는 제어부;를 포함한다. 이에 의해 광가입자망에서 광신호 전송 장애가 발생하는 것을 막을 수 있다.

PURPOSE: A participation type broadcasting system and a method for handling an audio for the same are provided to solve the delay of a participant voice. CONSTITUTION: A participation type broadcasting system comprises a subscriber management server for checking the participating device is same with the watching device, a participation control server(200) for setting an image session with one of the participation device or the watching device, and a media mixer(300) for transmitting the image session to the participant.

PURPOSE: A channel sever, a channel prediction server, a terminal and method for a fast channel change system based on multiplicity multicast with program rating prediction are provided to predict a channel to be changed based on a program rating. CONSTITUTION: Based on channel preference information, a streaming module(111) applies delay values to an original multicast stream. The streaming module generates at least one delay multicast stream. An analysis module(112) receives query information on the original multicast stream from a terminal. The analysis module receives the query information on the original multicast stream, and determines the optimized multicast stream among the delay multicast streams. The analysis module transfers the response information related to the optimized multicasts stream to a terminal(140).

PURPOSE: A multicast control apparatus in a multi hop network capable of optimizing a multicast transfer rate is provided to transfer a query message of a group management protocol packet to the entire network. CONSTITUTION: A multicast control apparatus(105) includes a packet determining unit(201), a packet type discriminating unit(203), and a packet transmitting unit(205). The packet determining unit determines a group management query device. The packet type discriminating unit discriminates a packet type in case the packet is a group management protocol packet. The packet transmitting unit transmits the packet to a second port in case the packet is a query message.

PURPOSE: A telephone order processing server, a gateway, and a broadcasting terminal for a digital TV advertisement are provided to efficiently identify the data advertisement by using an advertisement exposure information corresponding to advertisement data transmitted to the broadcasting terminal. CONSTITUTION: A call processor(1121) receives an order request from a terminal of an orderer. A detector(1122) detects advertisement exposure information related to the orderer. A synchronizer(1123) distinguishes a first advertisement data related to the order based on the advertisement exposure information. A order processing unit(1124) processes an order procedure about the first advertisement data.

PURPOSE: A method for measuring a network available bandwidth in high speed and a device for measuring transmission delay tendency are provided to make measurement traffic not interfere an original media by using a duplicated packet of the original media as a measuring traffic. CONSTITUTION: A transmitting party transmits a media to a receiving party(510). The receiving party collects time interval between the packets of the transmitted media(520). The receiving party inspects one-way delay related to the packet based on the collected time interval(530). The receiving party reports the inspected one-way delay to the transmitting party(540). The transmitting party controls a bit rate of the media based on the reported one-way delay(550).

PURPOSE: An RSOA control method and a control device thereof are provided to keep constant optical property driving RSOA of ONU(Optical Network Unit) regardless of the wavelength of the seed light inserted in the OLT in loop back type WDM-PON based on RSOA. CONSTITUTION: A controller unit(10) controls the operating temperature activating the RSOA, and sets the threshold current in which the light source begins to erupt regardless of the wavelength of the seed light. An optical property control unit(20) controls the operating current in order to constantly control the light characteristic differently outputted by wavelength of the seed light inserted in RSOA. The optical property control unit comprises the current optical output information generator unit generating the current optical output information and the operating current setting unit setting the operating current which regularly controls the optical output characteristic.

CONSTITUTION: A photoelectric converter(110) converts a received optical signal into an electricity data signal. An output data converter(130) converts the converted electricity data signal into a plurality of electricity data signals. A clock restoring unit(150) extracts clock signals from the converted electricity data signals. A signal amplifier of the output data converter amplifies the converted electricity data signals.

PURPOSE: An optical coupler between different kind optical fibers is provided to minimize an insertion loss of an optical signal due to a diameter difference of the optical signal. CONSTITUTION: A first optical fiber(10) transfers a signal ray. A second optical fiber(20) has a different refraction index with the first optical fiber and transfers the signal ray delivered to the first optical fiber. A fixing unit(30) protects a part of the first optical fiber and the second optical fiber and fixes the first optical fiber and the second optical fiber.
