PURPOSE: A digital television apparatus and an advertisement information analysis device for recognizing the reaction of a viewer are provided to accurately analyze the exposure degree of a viewer about first advertisement. CONSTITUTION: An exposure information analyzing unit(420) analyzes advertisement exposure information generated according to the exposure form of interactive advertisement through a digital television apparatus. A statistics information producing unit(430) produces statistical information by using the analyzed result. The interactive advertisement is a first advertisement offered to the digital television apparatus.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: An IPTV terminal, a server, and a method for surveying IPTV audience rating using the same are provided to survey IPTV program rating simply and accurately. CONSTITUTION: A terminal(10) includes an audience information management unit(100), an audience information transmission unit(110), and an audience information storage unit(120). The audience information management unit collects and creates the audience information corresponding to the watching of an IP(Internet Protocol) broadcasting in real time, and the audience information transmitting unit transmits the audience information to a server(20). The server is related to an audience rating survey, and the audience information includes a channel ID, the watching state information of a watching channel, and so on.

A system and a method for surveying real time TV ratings in an IPTV(Internet Protocol TV) network are provided to survey TV ratings in real time targeting the entire households that view IPTVs without limiting the number of sample panel target households and without the necessity of installing additional equipments. An EPG(Electronic Program Guide) server(210) provides channel information and a TV ratings survey server to an IPTV client(240). The IPTV client periodically outputs reception information including a channel, which has been selected based on the channel information and is currently being received, and subscriber information. A TV ratings survey server(220) surveys TV ratings based on the reception information. The channel information includes information about every channel, and the TV ratings survey server information includes an IP address of the server and a transmission period of survey information for the survey of TV ratings.
Abstract:
A method and an apparatus for a telephone connection service are provided to achieve telephone connection between a transmitter-sided terminal and a receiver-sided terminal just only by clicking a remote control unit button. A set-top box(210) transmits information, which is inputted from a remote control unit(101) of a user, to a return server(220), and displays information, which is transmitted from the return server, through a display device(102). The return server controls a telephone connection request of the set-top box, and communicates with an external network to perform telephone connection between a transmitter-sided terminal(500) and a receiver-sided terminal. A user information database(230) includes subscriber information, which is required for the return server to authenticate the set-top box, and information, which is required to perform a telephone connection service.

A method for retransmitting/decoding a codeword using feedback information and a transmitting/receiving apparatus are provided to improve the success probability of retransmission by configuring retransmission feedback information by repeating a code bit of the previously transmitted codeword for decoding a retransmission part in a receiving apparatus. An apparatus for retransmitting/decoding a codeword using feedback information includes an index dividing unit, a retransmitting division determining unit, and a transmission controlling unit. The index dividing unit shows a position of data to retransmit as index information in pre-set division information based on retransmission request information received from a receiving apparatus. The retransmitting division determining unit calculates wireless resources used for retransmission of packet data, compares the number of retransmitting division information among the calculated wireless resources with the number of the calculated wireless resources, and generates result information. The transmission controlling unit completes an information bit for retransmission by using the index information to fill the calculated wireless resources with a code bit to transmit, forms a retransmission codeword obtained by adding a parity bit stream to the completed information bit, and transmits the codeword to the receiving apparatus.

PURPOSE: A device of operating a chip in a base station demodulator for a CDMA system and a method therefor, and a base station demodulator using the same are provided to perform independent finger functions as many as the number of clocks per chip in one device, and to re-multiplex multiplexed finger outputs outputted from many devices through a scheduling process, thereby implementing easy processing by using a time division method with the one device. CONSTITUTION: Many finger units(PU1-PUn) generate specific symbols despreading signals received through an antenna to minimal spread factors, and perform independent despreading processes as many as the number of clocks per chip through a time division process. A channel scheduler(110) multiplexes the specific symbols generated from the finger units(PU1-PUn) through a scheduling process, and attaches finger number tags to the multiplexed symbols to output the symbols. A finger location tracker(120) outputs a command of moving each location of the finger units(PU1-PUn) in reference to signals outputted from the channel scheduler(110).

PURPOSE: A digital filter for SDR(Software-Defined Radio) system, an apparatus having the filter and processing digital intermediate frequency band signal and a method thereof are provided to enable hardware devices to share hardware resources with each other by embodying a receiving filter, which can reconfigured with minimum hardware devices, in digital for each communication standard item. CONSTITUTION: A signal received from an antenna(301) is converted into an analog IF signal through an RF signal processor(302). An analog-digital converter(303) converts the analog IF signal into a digital signal and a digital frequency mixer(306) converts the digital signal into a baseband signal. The digital frequency mixer(306) receives an input from a numerically controlled oscillator(307) for calculating a sine function value of digital frequency. A configurable filter building block(309) removes a high band signal from the baseband-converted signal. A configuration processor(308) receives an input from a filter coefficient calculator(305) for transferring a filter coefficient to the configurable filter building block(309). The configuration processor(308) receives an input from an external filter coefficient input unit(304).
