PURPOSE: A method and a system thereof are provided to offer perfect connectivity between nodes when an obstacle is generated in a shared link and one local link in an interconnected Ethernet ring network. CONSTITUTION: A first Ethernet ring protection controller(240) outputs the status information of a first Ethernet ring including a first port management part(210) and a second port management part(220). A second Ethernet ring protective control part(250) outputs the status information of a second Ethernet ring including the second port management part and a third port management part(230). According to the status information of each Ethernet ring, a Ethernet ring priority determiner(270) decides the protection switching priority of the Ethernet ring.

PURPOSE: A memory mapping method for a multi processing unit and a device thereof are provided to minimize time delay, collision and bottleneck phenomena generated when each processing unit accesses a memory. CONSTITUTION: At least one memory matching unit(114,119,130) matches a plurality of processing units(102,104,106) with a plurality of memories. Memory controllers(107,108,109,126,127,128,129) perform access control and arbitration for each memory. The memory mapping unit maps one area of the entire address area of a corresponding memory. A window map varying unit varies a window map about a processing unit in which a memory use request is generated.

Provided is a memory switching control apparatus using an open serial interfacing scheme capable of enhancing flexibility, reliability, availability, performance in a data communication processes between a memory and a processing unit and an operating method thereof. The memory switching control apparatus includes: one or more processor interfacing units which perform interfacing with one or more processing units; one or more memory interfacing units which have open-serial-interfacing-scheme memory interfacing ports to interface with data storage devices connected to the memory interfacing ports in a serial interfacing scheme; and a plurality of arbitrating units which are provided corresponding to the memory interfacing units to independently arbitrate usage rights of the processor interfacing units to the memory interfacing units.

A data transmission method of a WLAN mesh network using a priority frame and an apparatus thereof are provided to secure a QoS(Quality of Service) about data required in real time by controlling transmission time corresponding to the used amount of the priority frame and set up the usable bandwidth of the priority frame. A priority selection unit(510) determines a priority of data frame. A priority frame competition controller(540) controls the transmission of the priority frame. A retransmitting buffer and a counter(520) store and retransmit the priority frame which is unable to be transmitted. An admission control(530) determines the transmission of the priority frame which the new is added.
Abstract:
A memory switching control apparatus using open serial interface, operating method thereof, and a data storage device thereof are provided to resolve a bottleneck phenomenon due to a plurality of memory storage devices and a complexity of memory interface by using an open serial interface. A memory matching unit of a memory switching control device run matching line in a minimum speed(S101), and checks the number of matching lines being usable which are connected to the data storage device(S102). The memory matching unit checks the maximum line speed of the checked match line(S103). The memory matching unit operates all the match lines to the checked maximum line speed(S104). The memory matching unit checks out whether the basic operation of the operated lines is normal(S105), measures data delay for the each operated line, and adjusts entire matching line output timing through a compensation for delay between lines(S106). A corresponding memory matching unit performs a memory test through the setup matching line(S107). If the data storage unit being connected is normal, the memory matching unit allocates a system addressing space mapping to data storage device and terminates the initialization procedure after registering to memory port table(S109). If the data storage unit being connected is abnormal, the memory matching unit reports an error state and terminates the initialization procedure without allocation of system addressing space or registering(S110).

A router for supporting a black box and a network system having the router are provided to transmit a one time message or a final message of a specific node or a node group to a final server or a host. A memory(314) for a black box stores node data. At least one packet preprocessor(301) selects/processes a data packet which is required to store the black box among node data transmitted through wire/wireless transmission media. A data storage unit(309) stores node data in the memory. A data reading unit(310) reads out corresponding node data in response to a node data transmission request from an external device. A data transmission unit(311) processes the read node data into a packet type. The data transmission unit transmits the processed data to the external device.

An apparatus for IPv6 tunneling and a method thereof are provided to divide inputted packets into an IPv4 packet and an IPv6 packet using version information in the header information of the inputted packets, divide and decapsulate the IPv4 packet according to protocol information in the header information of the IPv4 packet, thereby increasing a decapsulation rate to improve system performance and a packet transfer rate. An apparatus for IPv6(Internet Protocol version6) tunneling comprises a packet header analyzing unit(51), a capsulating unit(52), a capsule removing unit(53), and a header arranging unit(54). The packet header analyzing unit analyzes the header of a packet to transfer the destination address of an IPv6 packet to the capsulating unit, and transfers an IPv4 packet and the destination address and header check information of the IPv4 packet to the capsule removing unit. The capsulating unit determines a received packet as a tunneling packet if three is the destination address received from the packet header analyzing unit in a first look-up table, and generates an IPv4 header, and inserts the generated IPv4 header to the IPv6 packet. The capsule removing unit deletes the IPv4 header of the IPv4 packet and deletes a UDP(User Datagram Protocol) port number with the IPv4 header according to the look-up table research result using the destination address of the IPv4 packet received from the packet header analyzing unit. The header arranging unit arranges the packet capsulated in the capsulating unit and the header field of a packet of which the capsule is removed by the capsule removing unit.

An apparatus and a method for selecting an optimal packet transmission path are provided to prevent loss of packets and keep the sequence of the packets by minimizing the change of existing path when adding or deleting the path. A field value extraction unit(110) extracts a field value corresponding a specified field of a packet which comes into a packet processing system supporting multi paths. A selecting path existence checkup unit transmits the packet if the corresponded field exists. If the path not exists, a path calculator(130) calculates a prime number which not exceeds the available number of paths and assigns the rest which is obtained by dividing the hash value into the next hop index. A path selecting unit(140) selects a search value which is obtained by searching for a hop index table by using the next hop index as a new path.

A router state management method and a device are provided to enable a communication router system to display a connection state of an LAN(Local Area Network) port in real time, so that a manager or a user can easily recognize information on a physical connection state of the LAN port to immediately cope with abnormality by checking a router state. When another network device is connected through an LAN port, packet information is received from another network device(S201). A link state of the LAN port is decided on from the packet information, and link state information is classified(S202,S203). The link state is displayed according to the link state information(S204,S205). When the link state information is classified, it is confirmed whether a link state with another network device is connected. The confirmed results are classified into connection information.
