Abstract: PURPOSE: A water cooling system for a tube train is intended so that a train stores heat as ice at an atmospheric pressure and the ice is used to cool during running of the train on a tube rail. CONSTITUTION: A water cooling system for a tube train is as follows. A cooling path(11) is formed in an electric instrument of a tube train(2'). At least one cooler(10) for the electric instrument is installed outside the tube train. The cooling path and the electric instrument cooler are connected to form a cooling loop. The tube train comprises a heat storage tank(30), a brine pump and an ice cooler(40), which are connected to form an ice loop. A inter-loop heat exchanger(50) is installed between the electric instrument cooling loop and the ice loop to be heat-exchanged. Cooling through own cooler and heat exchange through the ice loop are selectively made to cool heat from the tube train.

Abstract: PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for measuring the uplift amount and oscillation of a contact line for an electric railway vehicle are provided to safely measure the accurate uplift amount and oscillation of a contact line with a non-contact method. CONSTITUTION: A method for measuring the uplift amount and oscillation of a contact line for an electric railway vehicle comprises steps of: setting reference images for image processing of a photographed indicator(S10), correcting pixel values according to the deformation of the indicator resulting from the shooting angle of a camera with respect to the reference images(S20), obtaining images of the indicator before and after the passage of an electric railway vehicle(S30), comparing the indicator images with the reference images to measure the fluctuation of the pixels(S40), and measuring the actual fluctuation of a contact line from the pixel fluctuation using the pixel rate according to the actual thickness of the contact line(S50).
