Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for compensating errors about the idle decision for a vehicle is provided to improve the problems in driving about the idle decision errors and degrade the recall rate of the vehicle. CONSTITUTION: When the vehicle is in stop condition and the range of target RPM, and a TPS variation is in the range of an idle decision TPS variation, a method checks whether the TPS output is less than the added value of a higher value of the previous TPS output and previous studied value to the TPS return variation for the idle decision. If it is checked as the TPS output is less than the added value, an idle decision delay count is initialized to zero. The present idle decision delay count is set by increasing the previous idle decision count by one. The method checks whether the idle count is more than the number of idle decision delay. If the idle count is more than the number of idle decision delay, the TPS output is set as the TPS studied value and the idle count is deleted, and then the idle flag is converted to be on.

The vehicle condition detecting part comprises an air amount detecting part(11) detecting an information about the intake air amount in the present operating condition, a coolant temperature detecting part(12) detecting an information of temperature of the coolant circulating in the engine, an engine RPM detecting part(13) detecting an information of the engine RPM, and a throttle position detecting part(14) detecting an information about the position of the throttle valve adjusting the intake air amount.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for compensating for an amount of air is provided to stably compensate for an idle engine RPM by providing an amount of air based on accumulated data when the idle engine RPM is varied. CONSTITUTION: A control section detects signals applied from an engine RPM detecting section and an ISC opening degree detecting section(S101). If the engine is in an idle state, the control section determines whether it is required to compensate for the amount of air(S102). If the compensation is required, the control section determines the initial compensating value(S103) and calculates the driving time of an actuator(S104). Then, the control section sets an optimum idle RPM, and determines the amount of intake air thereof as a reference value(S107). The reference value is stored in a memory section.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for compensating asynchronic injection quantity by disposing the condition of the asynchronic compensation injection in two way, which is in idling and in idling-off to use fuel efficiently. CONSTITUTION: An idle state is read by detecting electrical signals output from a car speed sensor and a throttle position sensor.
