    Abstract: Systems and methods for wireless communication are described herein. In one aspect, a method may include establishing, by a first base station, a connection to a User Equipment (UE) and identifying a second base station to which the UE can also connect, determining whether dual connectivity of the UE to the base stations is permitted, and selecting, based on the determining, handing over the UE to the second base station or initiating dual connectivity for the UE. In another aspect, a method may include receiving a request for modifying bearers routed via a first gateway node for dual connectivity of a UE to a master base station and a secondary base station, determining that the modification requires bearers to relocate to a second gateway node, and rejecting the request or relocating all bearers associated with the UE to the second gateway node, based on the determining.

    Abstract: Aspects directed towards Quality of Service (QoS) flow remapping are disclosed. In an example, upon detecting a mapping reconfiguration of a first QoS flow from a first data radio bearer (DRB) to another DRB, a Service Data Adaptation Protocol (SDAP) control protocol data unit (PDU) is generated indicating that a final SDAP data PDU associated with the first QoS flow has been transmitted on the first DRB. The SDAP control PDU is then transmitted via the first DRB. In another example, upon detecting a mapping reconfiguration of a first QoS flow from a first DRB to another DRB, an end marker parameter is set in an SDAP header of a first SDAP data PDU received from an upper layer after the mapping reconfiguration indicating that the first SDAP data PDU is a final SDAP data PDU associated with the first QoS flow transmitted on the first DRB.

The apparatus may be a core network entity (410). The core network entity (410) is connected to a RAN (404) including a primary cell (406) utilizing a licensed spectrum and a secondary cell (408) utilizing an unlicensed spectrum. The core network entity (410) determines an authorization for data traffic to be offloaded to the secondary cell (408) based on data traffic characteristics. The core network (410) transmits an indication of the authorization to the RAN (404).

    Abstract: Various aspects relate to determining whether one or more subframes are multicast-broadcast single-frequency network (MBSFN) subframes. A user equipment (UE) can receive, from a base station, a system information broadcast signal that includes an indication of one or more subframes as MBSFN subframes, and a subsequent system information broadcast signal that indicates at least scheduling information for a multicast control channel (MCCH) in at least a portion of the one or more subframes. The UE can determine, based at least in part on the indication or on the subsequent system information broadcast signal, a numerology for a physical multicast channel (PMCH) corresponding to the MCCH in at least the portion of the one or more subframes, and can process at least the portion of the one or more subframes based at least in part on the scheduling information or the numerology for the PMCH.
