Abstract:
QoS(Quality of Service) 흐름리맵핑에관한양상들이개시된다. 일예에서, 제1 DRB(data radio bearer)로부터다른 DRB로의제1 QoS 흐름의맵핑재구성을검출할시, 제1 QoS 흐름과연관된마지막 SDAP(Service Data Adaptation Protocol) 데이터 PDU(protocol data unit)가제1 DRB 상에서송신되었음을표시하는 SDAP 제어 PDU가생성된다.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide techniques to support operation of user equipment (UE) in a compressed mode and a CPC mode.SOLUTION: The UE obtains assignment of enabled subframes for the CPC mode and assignment of transmission gaps for the compressed mode. The transmission gaps are aligned with idle times between the enabled subframes. The UE exchanges data during enabled subframes not overlapping the transmission gaps and skips data exchanges during enabled subframes overlapping the transmission gaps. The UE makes cell measurement during the transmission gaps. The UE obtains enabled subframes and skipped subframes, exchanges data during enabled subframes not corresponding to the skipped subframes, and skips data exchanges during the skipped subframes. The UE receives orders on a shared control channel to quickly enable and disable the compressed mode.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide techniques for reporting channel quality indicators (CQIs).SOLUTION: Data activity at a receiver may be determined (812), and CQI reporting by the receiver may be adjusted based on the determined data activity (814). In one design, CQI reporting is enabled for a time window around each expected packet arrival for a periodic or quasi-periodic transmission and is suspended outside of the time window. In another design, CQI reporting may be varied based on ACK/NACK feedback. In yet another design, CQIs may be sent at a first rate when data activity is not detected and at a second rate earlier than the first rate when data activity is detected.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide transmit power control techniques for a small base node such as a Home Base Node (HBN), or femto cell to prevent co-channel or adjacent channel interference, or to limit its coverage area.SOLUTION: Once the power is set, the HBN signals to served Home User Equipment (HUE) its Common Pilot Channel (CPICH) transmit power for accurate path loss estimation. When this power is outside of the permissible range, the HBN adjusts other parameters (such as a Random Access Channel (RACH) constant value) to compensate for the error in the signaled CPICH power, and thus compensate the error in the process of determining path loss. Similarly, if the uplink sensitivity is adjusted to prevent interference, parameters would also be adjusted and signaled to the HUE to reflect the link imbalance.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable fast allocation of additional carriers in multi-carrier wireless communication systems.SOLUTION: High layer protocols are used to allocate additional carriers to UE 304 in a wireless network. Additionally, management of the additional carriers is accomplished via high speed lower layer signaling protocols. Management involves activating/deactivating the additional carriers and instructing the UE to provide carrier feedback and to monitor pilot or control channels of such carriers.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile wireless terminal in a plurality of concurrently operating communication links set up to properly control aggregate input and/or output power of a transmission signal amplifier to avoid distortion and maximize an overall communication bandwidth. SOLUTION: A mobile wireless terminal (MWT) includes multiple wireless modems. The multiple modems have their respective transmission outputs combined together and input into a transmission signal amplifier to produce an aggregate transmission output. The MWT is constrained to operate within a single aggregate transmission power limit. Each of the multiple modems has an individual transmission power limit related to the aggregate transmission power limit. An MWT controller adjusts the individual transmission power limits in the multiple modems based on the aggregate transmission power limit (702) of the MWT and respective transmission power estimates (712) reported from the multiple modems, to cause each individual transmission power limit to track corresponding individual modem transmission power.
