Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolytic solution secondary battery and its manufacturing method where aiming at an improvement of battery capacity is possible. SOLUTION: In the nonaqueous electrolytic solution secondary battery wherein a carbonaceous material of a particulate state, capable of doping and dedoping lithium ion is used as a negative electrode active substance 2b, surfaces of the negative electrode active substance 2b are covered by coatings 2c made of polymer of phosphate compound. The phosphate compound is to be lithium phosphate. Further, in manufacturing this nonaqueous electrolytic solution secondary battery, the hydrogen phosphate compound is made to be polymerized in the surfaces of the negative electrode active substance, by being subjected to heat treatment, after the surfaces of the negative electrode active substance have been covered by an aqueous solution of hydrogen phosphate compound.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte battery which is enhanced in a low temperature characteristic and preservation characteristic. SOLUTION: This battery includes a negative electrode 3 containing a carbonaceous material serving as negative electrode active material, a positive electrode 2 disposed oppositely to the negative electrode 3 and containing positive electrode active material, and a nonaqueous electrolyte interposed between the negative electrode 3 and the positive electrode 2. A material which does not allow insertion and/or release of Li is contained in the negative electrode 3 in the range of 20 wt.% to 40 wt.% inclusive of the negative electrode active material. The heat-retaining effect of this compound prevents the temperature of the negative electrode active material from dropping even if the outside of the battery is at low temperatures, providing an excellent nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery which can maintain good characteristics.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a battery, reduce the weight thereof, improve the volume energy density, and prolong lifetime by enclosing a battery structure formed by stacking a positive electrode material, a negative electrode material and a high molecular electrolyte with an outer case material made of a metal foil, and bonding the peripheral part thereof in the condition in which a tip of an electrode terminal member is exposed. SOLUTION: A negative electrode terminal member 3 of a battery structure 2 formed of a positive electrode material, a negative electrode material, a separator and the gel-like electrolyte is sandwiched by insulating resin sheets, and sealed by an outer case material 4, and a tip 3a of the negative electrode terminal member 3 is exposed. Preferably, side surface vertical against a folding part 4a are formed into thin side surface bonding parts 4d, 4f by ultrasonic welding, and tip parts 4b, 4c are formed into tip bonding part through vacuum heat welding to improve moisture resistance. Furthermore, mechanical strength is improved by coating it with a sealing material, such as a heat shrinkable resin film. The outer case material 4 to be bonded to a positive electrode collector is used as the positive electrode terminal, and a foil of Al or the alloy thereof or an Al layer formed metal foil can be used. An electrode terminal member is used as the positive electrode terminal, and the outer case material 4 made of a foil of Ni, Fe, Cu or stainless steel can be used as the negative electrode terminal.

In this case, the positive electrode mix and/or the negative electrode mix contain perhydropolysilazane, and after time electrode mix containing the perhydropolysilazane is applied, a heat treatment is performed to form complex films of the perhydropolysilazane and the binder. Further, the positive electrode and the negative electrode are opposed together via an electrolyte phase to form a secondary battery. The content of the perhydropolysilazane for 100 weight parts of the binder is preferably 0.5 to 30 weight parts.

The surface of a substrate 11 to which the hotmelt resin is applied is heated immediately before the application and the compression bonding is performed. With this constitution, the surface of the hotmelt resin can be smooth and the coating unevenness can be suppressed.
