An EMD registering server (3) receives from a personal computer (1) a transmission request to transmit data displayed on a screen for inputting th e profile of the user along with the MGID and APID specifying the personal computer (1), then selects data recorded in correlation with the APID based on the received APID, and transmits the selected data to the personal computer (1). The EMD registration server (3) receives the profile of the user inputt ed according to data from the personal computer and records the profile of the user in correlation with the MGID.

SOLUTION: An installation program 110 acquires the URL of an EMD registration server 3. A key installation program 118 sends an APID to a key server 5 when the registration of a user on the EMD registration server 3 is completed, and receives the URL of an EMD server 4 corresponding to the APID. A WWW browser 117 requests the EMD registration server 3 to register the user according to the URL of the EMD registration server 3 and communicates with the EMD server 4 according to the URL of the EMD server 4 received by the key installation program 118.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To grasp the distribution route of respective contents. SOLUTION: A distribution managing server 100 extracts prescribed contents recorded in a recording means 140 and sends them from a contents sending means 110 to a target client device 300. A router 200 performs repeating processing by a contents repeating means 210 and judges whether the repeated contents are predetermined prescribed contents or not by a contents detecting means 220. When there are prescribed contents, the notice of contents passing is transmitted to the distribution managing server 100 by a report means 230. The distribution managing server 100 receives the notice transmitted from each of routers by a notice receiving means 120 and transmits this notice to a distribution route calculating means 130. On the basis of contents passing notice information acquired from each of routers, the distribution route calculating means 130 grasps the distribution route of contents.

SOLUTION: A key server 5 receives a key transmission request with an APID, corresponding to a program requiring an MGID and a key from a personal computer 1. The key server 5 makes a request to an EMD registration server 3, to discriminate whether the personal computer 1 is registered and receives a result of discrimination as to whether the personal computer 1 is registered from the EMD registration server 3. In the case of receiving the discrimination denoting the registration result of the person computer 1, the key server 5 generates a key corresponding to the program and transmits the generated key to the personal computer 1.

SOLUTION: When the transmitting request of data for displaying a screen for inputting the profile of the user is received from a personal computer(PC) 1 together with an MGID and an APID for specifying the PC 1, on the basis of the received APID, an END register server 3 selects data recorded corresponding to the APID and transmits the selected data to the PC 1. The EMD register server 3 receives the profile of the user inputted from the PC 1 on the basis of the data and records the profile of the user corresponding to the MGID.
