    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyester fiber having silky squeaky feeling, dry touch feeling, natural harshness, soft feeling and glossy feeling and useful for high class woven/knit fabrics by blending a normal pressure-dyeable base component polymer with a disperse dye with a specified blend component polymer. SOLUTION: This fiber is obtained by blending at least two polymers such as (A) a normal pressure-dyeable base component polymer with a disperse dye of a copolyester copolymerized with 6.0-10 wt.% polyethylene glycol having an average molecular weight of 500-4,000 with (B) a blend component polymer of a copolymer copolymerized with 1.5-10 mol.% 5-sodium sulfoisophthalic acid, >=5 times higher in dissolution rate into an aqueous solution than the component A and extended in a striated manner to fiber axis direction. The fiber has cross section of sea-island look and has striated grooves in caustic reduction with an alkaline solution and the weight mixing rate of the component A and the component B is (55:45) to (95:5).

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject mixed polyester fiber that gives woven or knitted fabrics having excellent color-developing properties with squeaky feeling, dry feeling and harshness and is useful as high-class clothes by extending admixed blending components in the fiber axis direction and then removing the blending components from the fibers. SOLUTION: A metal sulfonate group-containing isophthalic acid component of 0.7-2.4 mol%, based on the whole dicarboxylic acid components, and 0.2-10 wt.%, based on the polyester, of a polyalkylene glycol component are copolymerized to give a polyester copolymer. This polymer base component is insoluble in hot water, dyeable with basic dyes. In the meantime, the blend component such as polyester copolymer from 8-14 mol% of 5-sodiosulfo- isophthalic acid, 10-33 mol% of isophthalic acid is soluble in hot water. At least two components of these polymers are mixed and the mixed copolymer is extruded into ester fibers. In the copolymer fibers, the blend components are extended in lines along the fiber axis direction. The weight ratio of the base component to the blend component is preferably 60/40-95/5.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyester blended yarn, with different shrinkage having excellent bulkiness, springiness, stiffness and soft feeling and excellent in false twist processability, appearance and quality by spinning a high shrinking component, etc., consisting of polyester copolymers, from a single spinneret under specific conditions. SOLUTION: A high shrinking component consisting of a polyester copolymer having an intrinsic viscosity ηH of 0.650-0.690 and a low shrinking component consisting of a polyester having an intrinsic viscosity ηL which satisfies the equation ηL . Further, it is preferable that the high shrinking yarn constitutes mainly the inner layer and the low shrinking yarn constitutes the outer layer.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain woven or knit fabric, comprising core-sheath structural yarn containing basic-dyeable multifilament yarn of a fine size as a sheath part, capable of highly developing a color, good in dry and soft touch feelings, stiffness, body and drapeability, etc., and having a high-class feeling. CONSTITUTION: This woven and knit fabric using combined filament yarn of different sizes comprises core-sheath structural yarn containing (A) basic-dyeable multifilament yarn of a fine size having 0.05-0.5 denier single filament size as a sheath part and (B) multifilament yarn having 4-10 denier single filament size as a core part. The number of filaments in the sheath part is >=20 times based on that of the core part and the ratio of the single filament sizes of the core to the sheath parts is >=15 times. Thereby, the resultant woven or knit fabric has a dense touch feeling and is excellent in the touch feeling and appearance without causing dyeing skitteriness, etc.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain the subject knitted or woven fabric, excellent in a dry tough and softness and rich in stretchability and useful for sports and inner wears by specifying the cross-sectional structure of a basic-dyeable polyester multifilament yarn and the mixing ratio of an elastic yarn to be mixed and knitted or woven therewith. CONSTITUTION: This polyester knitted or woven fabric is obtained by forming plural wedgy grooves in the directions from the surface of the yarn to the interior in filaments constituting a basic-dyeable polyester multifilament yarn to be mixed and knitted or woven with an elastic yarn. The mixing ratio of the elastic yarn is regulated to >=3wt.%, preferably >=5wt.% based on the knitted or woven fabric. The wedgy grooves can be formed by dissolving and removing a readily dissolvable component (B) according to the alkaline treatment, etc.
