The piece (1) has passages (2, 3) for conveying respective components from a storage container to a dispensing element. The passages are configured separate from one another such that the components are guided separately by the piece. A non-return valve (4) e.g. ball, is arranged at one of the passages between upper and lower elements (5, 6), and designed such that one of the passages is closed by the non-return valve. The upper and lower elements are connected with each other by a connecting element (20). An independent claim is also included for a dispensing element.

An improved pneumatic jetting valve includes a housing with first and second chambers. A pneumatic piston is enclosed between the chambers. First and second solenoid valves are configured to respectively supply air pressure to the chambers and to exhaust the chambers. A controller is operable to regulate the pressurization and venting of the chambers. The controller controls the timing of control signals for the first and second solenoid valves to control the overlap time during which both the first and second chambers are pressurized. By controlling this overlap time, the controller controls the speed of the drive pin of the jetting valve and thereby the speed at which the valve closes to jet a droplet of material. This allows a valve speed to be selected that is most appropriate for the viscosity of the material being jetted. Numerous new methods for utilizing the improved jetting valve and system are disclosed.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum Austragen von Material, insbesondere von pastösen Massen, mit einem im Wesentlichen rohrförmigen Gehäuseteil (1) zur Aufnahme einer Wechseldüse (2), die lösbar mit dem Gehäuseteil verbunden ist, und eines axial verstellbaren, im Betrieb der Vorrichtung materialumströmten Kolbens (3), der in Anlage mit der Wechseldüse bringbar ist, so dass der Materialaustrag unterbrochen ist. Erfindungsgemäß ist der Kolben (3) in einer Lagerbuchse (4) gehalten und geführt, wobei der Kolben (3) und die Lagerbuchse (4) einen Wechseleinsatz (5) bilden, der lösbar, vorzugsweise werkzeuglos, mit dem Gehäuseteil (1) verbunden und zum Wechseln als Einheit entnehmbar ist.

Fluid dispensers (10,12,14) and methods for dispensing viscous fluids with improved edge definition. Pressurized fluid is periodically supplied in pulses to nozzles (80) in a nozzle plate (18) of a dispensing head as the dispensing head is moved by a multi-axis stage relative to a stationary substrate. Droplets are discharged from the nozzles (80) and impact on the substrate. The droplets coalesce together to define the coating. The discharge from one or more groups of nozzles (80) can be temporarily suspended to avoid coating a component or area on the substrate (120) while adjacent areas continue to receive droplets of the fluid.

PURPOSE: An adhesive supplying apparatus is provided to supply adhesive by opening and closing a plurality of inlets of flow paths using an adjusting valve and selectively opening the inlet of a flow path corresponding to a target. CONSTITUTION: An adhesive supplying apparatus includes a body(11), an adjusting valve(12), a cover(13), a nozzle(14), an opening and closing block(15), an operational fluid supplying unit, and a controller. A plurality of flow paths(11a) is formed at the body to pass liquid adhesive. An adjusting valve is installed at the inlet of each flow path(11a-1) to open and close the flow path. The adjusting valve is elevatably fastened with the cover. The nozzle adjusts the discharging amount of the adhesive for the target. The opening and closing block controls the discharging of the adhesive. The operational fluid supplying unit moves the opening and closing block. The controller controls the operational fluid supplying unit.

PURPOSE: A conformal coater and a method for the same are provided to induce the clear end edge of a conformal coating pattern and to prevent hammer head at the end edge of a film coating strip based on an elastomer element. CONSTITUTION: A conformal coater(10) includes a main body assembly(12). The main body assembly includes a liquid flow path, a valve seat, and a valve operating mechanism. The liquid flow path includes a liquid inlet and a liquid outlet. The valve seat is arranged between the liquid flow path and the liquid outlet. A valve stem is mounted at the main body assembly for a reciprocating motion between an opened position and a closed position. An elastomer element is arranged between the part of the main body assembly and the valve stem.
