Abstract: A high frequency surgical instrument and a high frequency surgical method are provided to treat an affected part position in various angles by controlling a rotation angel of a pinion and a high frequency terminal. An opening is formed in the front end of a rod(12). An electrode plate(14) is arranged in the opening to close the opening. The electrode plate has a high frequency terminal. The high frequency terminal moves with the electrode plate. A guide groove is formed in both sides of the rod. A guide protrusion is formed in both sides of the electrode plate. The guide protrusion is inserted into the guide groove. A rack belt is connected to one end of the electrode plate. A pinion(22) translates the rack belt. The electrode plate slides along the opening according to the translation of the rack belt.
