본 명세서는 입체영상 동기화 장치를 개시한다. 상기 장치는 입체영상의 좌영상 또는 우영상에의 어느 한 프레임 또는 프레임 블록을 기준으로 하여 좌영상 및 우영상의 프레임 간 유사도 또는 블록 간 유사도를 계산하는 유사도 계산부와; 상기 계산된 프레임간 유사도를 기초로 하여 좌영상 및 우영상 간의 프레임 차이값을 추출하는 프레임 차이값 추출부와; 상기 추출된 프레임 차이값을 보정하여 좌영상 및 우영상의 동기를 일치시키는 프레임 동기 보정부;를 포함한다.

모바일 방송망 및 통신망에서 컨텐츠의 핸드오버 지원방법 및 장치가 개시된다. 본 발명은 방송을 수신하여 상기 방송의 스트림을 디코딩함, 통신망을 통해 신호를 수신하여 상기 신호의 스트림을 디코딩함, 디코딩 기준 시각 정보 시점부터 시작되는 스트림을 상기 통신망에게 요청함, 결정된 핸드오버 시점에 디코더 출력을 조절함을 포함한다.
Abstract:
A method for transmitting broadcast and a data stream in a hybrid fiber coax (HFC) based cable network according to the present invention comprises: a first transmission step in which a broadcast transmitting device transmits the broadcast and a data service stream in an internet protocol (IP) based stream or radio frequency (RF) signal form through an optical section toward a cell node, which is a contact point between an optical section and a cable section of the cable network; and a second transmission step in which the cell node converts the broadcast and the data service stream into an RF signal, an IP-based stream, or an RF/IP fusion service stream according to a service type of a subscriber terminal, and transmits the converted result to a user terminal through the cable section. Thus, a cell unit, which is a coaxial section subscriber group, only exchanges and transmits a broadcast service stream, which is actually watched, such that broadcast frequency bands, which are to be transmitted simultaneously irrespective of whether they are watched or not, can be efficiently used.

Provided are an apparatus and a method to compress an image through a frame prediction. By analyzing a video signal, a similarity rate between a frame at a coding time and a previous input frame is compared with a reference similarity rate, respectively. When the similarity rate between the frame at the coding time and the previous input frame is equal to or greater than the reference similarity rate, the frame at the coding time is compressed using a frame vector including an identification information about a reference frame similar to the frame at the coding time. When the similarity rate between the frame at the coding time and the previous input frame is less than the reference similarity rate, the frame at the coding time is compressed through an intra or inter coding scheme.

An apparatus for providing a multi-view video using a two-dimensional display is disclosed. The apparatus for providing a multi-view video includes: a selection unit which selects a multi-view video file to be outputted through a two-dimensional display, selects at least one of output time and viewpoint from the selected multi-view video file, and outputs the multi-view video file to the two-dimensional display; and a real-time multi-view synthesis unit which performs multi-view synthesis of the selected multi-view video file, when the multi-view synthesis of the selected multi-view video file is required, but performs the multi-view synthesis, based on the at least one of the time and the viewpoint, and provides the two-dimensional display with a synthesized multi-view video.

A virtual pixel is generated by using the pixel of the produced content image according to the resolution of a display part and the resolution of the produced content image. It is displayed on the display part. The image of the content is displayed on the display part according to the resolution of the display part. A video service which a viewer wants can be naturally provided.
Abstract:
Disclosed is an apparatus for identifying the authenticity of a holographic image which can identify the authenticity by comparing a holographic image displayed by emitting light with an identical characteristic to an emitting characteristic of a first reference wave used when the holographic image was created with an original image. As a result, when a hologram is made, an image or a pattern is recorded by using a reference wave at a particular angle and on a particular laser waveband. Therefore, the hologram cannot be easily duplicated or copied to forge.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a method and apparatus for correcting the distortion of an optical lens of a DHP system. The method includes the steps of: obtaining a distortion image; generating a distortion function of the lens from the obtained distortion image; generating an inverse function of the distortion function of the lens from the distortion function of the lens; and correcting the distortion of the lens by using the inverse function of the distortion function of the lens. The present invention forms the DHP system capable of recording a holographic image with reality by reducing a distortion phenomenon due to the optical lens.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for inducing motion information by using a depth information value. The present invention includes a method of allowing several blocks to share and use a specific depth information value to decrease a memory bandwidth due to approach of the depth information value when motion information is induced by using the depth information value. Thus, the present invention can reduce the memory bandwidth of coding and decoding in a video coding process.

The present invention relates to a method, for receiving an additional network service which is provided through a temporary base station which is temporarily or locally arranged for transmitting disaster information, which includes: a step of receiving information for the additional network through an existing network service provided by a base station; a step of confirming if a service is to be converted to the additional network or not based on information for the additional network; and a step of receiving an additional network service through the additional network. According to the present invention, a temporary or local additional network service can be efficiently provided in a wireless broadcasting network/communication network. According to the present invention, a communication service can be provided through an additional network although a communication service failure is occurred due to traffic explosion in a region which a disaster or an event and et cetera is generated in a communication service point of view and a broadcasting channel which provides information specialized to the disaster or the event is temporarily or locally additionally provided in a broadcasting point of view.
