Abstract: PURPOSE: A performance test apparatus for a bowl vent valve is provided to increase engine output and improve reliability of product by testing the temperature and operation of the valve prior to being mounting to the air vent and maintaining air inlet amount at an optimum state. CONSTITUTION: A performance test apparatus comprises a constant temperature chamber having a plurality of gasoline channel, a valve mounting hole(12) where a bowl vent valve(11) is mounted, and a valve channel(15) connected to the valve; and a pressure control unit including a switching valve connected to the valve channel of the constant temperature chamber and which opens/shuts by a timer, a regulator connected to the switching valve and which controls a negative pressure, a surge tank(40) connected to the regulator and which maintains pressure constant, a vacuum ejector(50) connected to the surge tank and which forms a negative pressure by the air being supplied from an air supply unit. The pressure control unit operates the bowl vent valve by controlling pressure in accordance with the preset time.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A semi-clutch state is determined in a manual transmission automobile to operate an intake air learning control when the clutch is separated completely. CONSTITUTION: An engine load is calculated if a first condition is satisfied, and different intake air amount by brake operating state of a driver are received. A connecting state of a clutch is decided by comparing the received air amount with a predetermined value. If it is decided as a separated clutch state, an intake air amount learning is carried out. If not, the intake air amount learning is inhibited.

Abstract: 엔진을 시동하고, 정상 상태라고 판단되면 아이들 상태 여부를 판단한다. 아이들 상태이면 a/t(자동 변속) 상태인지를 판단하고, a/t 상태이면 자동 변속에 있어서 수온에 따른 rpm 보정값을 적용한다. a/t 상태가 아니면 매뉴얼 변속에 있어서 수온에 따른 rpm 보정값을 적용한다. 한편, 아이들 상태가 아니면 운전 영역이 a/t인지를 판단하고, 운전 영역이 a/t이면 자동 변속에 있어서 수온에 따른 보정값을 적용한다. 운전 영역이 a/t가 아니면 매뉴얼 변속에 있어서 수온에 따른 보정값을 적용한다. 이와 같이 수온과 운전 영역에 따른 보정값을 적용한 후, rpm 변화량이 어느 임계값보다 작은지를 판단한다. rpm 변화량이 임계값보다 작지 않으면 정상 상태 판단 단계로 돌아가 보정값을 적용하고, rpm 변화량이 임계값보다 작으면 연료 피드백 값이 어느 임계값보다 작은지를 판단한다. 연료 피드백 값이 임계값보다 작으면 연료 피드백 값을 초기화하고, 그렇지 않으면 연료 피드백 값을 그대로 적용한다. 이와 같이, 무부하 주행시 rpm 변화량 및 map 변화량에 따라서 보정값을 적용하기 때문에 감속시 연료량을 최적으로 제어하여 엔진 정지 및 rpm 드롭을 방지할 수 있다.

Abstract: PURPOSE: An engine control method in changing electric load of a vehicle is provided to prevent lowering of engine rpm at initial load change by keeping compensation of the air amount continuously during waiting time. CONSTITUTION: An electronic control unit waits till normal state of an engine after starting the engine(ST21). The electronic control unit detects electric load corresponding to each condition in case of the elapsed time after the normal state of the engine to be over the critical value(ST24). The air amount is calculated with adding the compensation air amount to the basic air amount in applying electric load corresponding to each condition. The air amount is controlled with the calculated value, and the electric load is driven by the electronic control unit(ST29). Sudden decrease of engine rpm is prevented at the initial stage by controlling the compensation air amount optimally.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A device for testing oil leakage from an injector is provided to test oil leakage caused by abrasion of a valve seat formed at a nozzle portion of the injector in a combustion engine. CONSTITUTION: By fixing an injector to a fixing jig and turning on a manipulation switch, an ECU(Electronic Control Unit) is operated. The ECU operates under an initial condition for 180 seconds for washing the injector. The ECU operates the injector under an input condition for 30 seconds to eliminate bubbles in a flow meter. By opening a bypass valve(32), amount of fuel is set for a specific scale of the flow meter to close the bypass valve. After 30 seconds, the valve is opened for adjusting fuel amount. Then, the fuel amount is reset to measure oil leakage for measuring oil leakage of the injector. Herein, by testing the oil leakage after adjusting an injector oil leakage tester, the oil leakage caused by abrasion of a valve seat caused by contact to a needle valve is conveniently checked.
