    Abstract: A hold-open lock assembly of a sliding door for a vehicle is provided to perform smooth pole return by an operating rotor although lock cable operation is not carried out due to outside environment. A hold-open lock assembly of a sliding door for a vehicle comprises an operating rotor(100), a pole(200), a pole return spring(300), a pole lever(400) and a connecting spring(500). The operating rotor is installed to a lower roller bracket(600) so as to be rotated in a direction to be locked in case of entry of a striker. The pole has a rotational shaft(410) on the lower roller bracket so as to be interlocked with the operating rotor. The pole return spring has one end fixed to the lower roller bracket and the other end connected to the pole so that the pole is returned after rotation of the operating rotor. The pole lever has the same rotational shaft as the pole, is connected to a lock cable(630) and disposed in one surface of the pole. The connecting spring is installed to the lower roller bracket so as to make the operating rotor and the pole lever to be elastically supported each other.
