Abstract: PURPOSE:To eliminate complicated operation and to release the lock with a simple mechanism by providing a lock lever freely turnably locking one reel base and a pulley releasing the lock of the lock lever. CONSTITUTION:When the disabled ejection is detected by a sensor, a capstan motor not used for the loading is driven and a pulley 11 is driven clockwise via a gear and a timing belt 13. A projection 12 is driven clockwise by the drive of the pulley 11 to push the turning piece 22 of the lock lever 20 in the direction of arrow (e) thereby driving the lock lever 20 in the direction of arrow (e) and releasing the lock of the lock lever 20. When the lock of the lock lever is released, the reel base 2 is driven and the tape required for the loading is drawn from the reel loaded to the reel base 2.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent an external force fed to an outer cover from being applied to a slide mechanism by duplicating cassette holders, making an outer cassette holder movable to a fixed part and making an inner cassette holder movable to a slide part. CONSTITUTION:A slide chassis 6 reciprocating a cassette 1 to the loading position while the cassette 1 accommodating a recording medium is loaded and a cassette loading part 3 loading the cassette 1 in the loading direction at the restored position of the chassis 6 are provided. The loading part 3 consists of inner/outer duplicated cassette holders 10, 11 having a cassette accommodating space and a cassette loading opening 4, the holder 11 has a turning shaft 11x at the side of the chassis 6 and the holder 10 has a turning support shaft 10x of the main frame 12. The holder 11 follows to the movement in the loading direction via a plate spring 19 and also follows the movement of the chassis 6. Thus, even when an external force is fed to a cover plate 14 of the loading part 3, the force is absorbed by the spring 19 to prevent the force from being applied to the slide mechanism part.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To engage a resilient engaging piece with both teeth sections of a tape reel by a return movement of a claw body by constituting a claw body with a main body and a resilient engaging piece of a tapered shape having a space enlarged at an end. CONSTITUTION:When a video tape recorder is positioned at a stop mode, if a claw body 90 is returned, a pair of claw bodies 88 are returned and rotated by an energizing force of a torsion spring 91 and a claw section 97 thereof engages with both teeth sections 106. Then while the claw body is returned, a pair of resilient engaging pieces 89 engage with both the teeth sections 106 and returned, so that both tape reels 8, 9 rotate slightly respectively in a direction of a take-up of the tape (directions shown by arrows (m), (n). Accordingly, a slack in the tape 10 is not produced. By the returning of the claw body 90 in a direction of (i), the engaging pieces 89 are opened outward by a guide section 94, therefore, an engaging position of the engaging piece 89 are constantly fixed and a lock of both the tape reels 8, 9 can be usually performed asuredly. In this manner, a lock function can be done by one claw body and the number of parts and assembling processes is reduced and a structure can be simplified.

The insertion side ends of the disk cartridges 1, (21) are formed to an arcuate surface shape 1a, by which the easy recognition of the insertion direction to the driver is made possible.
