    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a bias magnetic field generating head with which necessary bias magnetic field frequency and bias magnetic field intensity can be obtained easily. CONSTITUTION:Ferrite is employed as the material of cores 9 and 10. Metal magnetic elements 21 and 22 having high saturation flux densities and high permeabilities are attached to the end surfaces of the poles 12 and 13 of the cores 9 and 10. Metal magnetic material such as soft iron, silicon steel, permalloy, Sendust or amorphous steel is applied to the end surfaces of the poles 12 and 13 by adhesion, sputtering, etc., and subjected to a heat treatment to form the metal magnetic elements 21 and 22. As ferrite which has the excellent frequency characteristics are employed as the material of the cores 9 and 10, a necessary bias magnetic field frequency can be obtained easily. Further, as the metal magnetic elements 21 and 22 are attached to the end surfaces of the poles 12 and 13, the flux saturation in the pole end surface where the flux density is large can be suppressed and a necessary bias magnetic field intensity can be obtained easily.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a VTR which can execute an optimum waveform correction processing based on a reproduced reference signal even in the case of reproduction after dubbing as well. CONSTITUTION:TDM digital signals reproduced from the reproducing side VTR by an output connector part 48 are extracted, connected to an input connector part 19 of the input side VTR and supplied through terminals T2 of selector parts 18a and 18b to a synchronizing signal addition processing part 20. Those signals are supplied to heads 33a and 33b after executing D/A conversion and FM modulation or the like, dubbing recording can be executed to a magnetic tape 34, and it is not necessary to generate base band video signals and to transmit them between equipments. Thus, since dubbing is executed in this way, dubbing signals are not passed through a TDM decoder 44 of a reproducing system, D/A converters 45Y, 45B and 45R, LPF 46Y, 46B and 46R, LPF 12, 15B and 15R of a recording system, A/D converters 13, 16B and 16R circuit such as a TDM encoder 17, etc., other additional operational amplifiers and various filters, and the picture quality degradation of the clubbing signals is almost eliminated.

As a result, a control signal Sc which inhibits the recording operations of the processing circuit 6 is supplied to the circuit 6.

The time divided multiplexed signals are distributed to the two channels in such a manner that the kinds of the chroma signals of the respective channels are made single in a frame memory 11. The distributed signals are sequentially recorded with two times of scanning for one field by two channel heads 17A, 17B having the azimuth angles varying from each other by each of the two channels.

CONSTITUTION:In a rotary drum 70, a magnetic head device 71 in which a pair of magnetic gaps whose azimuth angles are different are formed is provided by only one piece. This drum 70 is rotated at a speed of natural number folds of a field frequency. In accordance with a rotating speed of this drum 70 and such a winding angle as winding length to the drum 70 of a magnetic tape 18 becomes constant, a time base of a signal distributed to plural channels is changed, and even if the drum diameter is changed arbitrarily, satisfactory recording is always executed. As a result, the VTR can be miniaturized by changing the rotary drum diameter by a simple configuration.
