Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film for thermal stencil printing and a thermal stencil printing master excellent in perforation sensitivity, curl resistance, independent perforation properties and printing characteristics (printability, printing durability), high in strength and especially excellent in low energy perforation properties due to a thermal head. SOLUTION: A film for thermal stencil printing is a biaxially stretched film composed of polyester containing a dicarboxylic acid component and a glycol component as constituent components and a crystal melting peak [Tm] and a falling temp. crystallizing peak [Tmc] are respectively measured at least by one in the DSC measurement of the film and satisfy the following relation of Tm (min)

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make sensitivity very high and to lessen the energy to be supplied to a thermal head by a method wherein a film for thermal stencil printing is constituted of an L-lactic acid polymer and the ratio of an L-lactic acid in this L-lactic acid polymer is set to be a specified one or above. SOLUTION: An L-lactic acid of 80 parts and a hydroxycaproic acid of 20 parts are put in a reactor equipped with an agitator and agitated for four hours at 145 deg.C and under 6000Pa, while water is distilled off. Tin of 0.05 parts being added then, agitation is conducted further for three hours under the conditions of 145 deg.C and 4000Pa and thereby an oligomer is obtained. Tin of 0.2 parts and diphenyl ether of 200 parts being added to this oligomer, an azeotropic dehydration reaction is conducted under the conditions of 148 deg.C and 4400Pa and it is conducted for 30 hours, while water and a solvent being distilled are separated by a water separator and the solvent alone is returned to the reactor, whereby an L-lactic acid polymer is obtained. The ratio of an L-lactic acid in this L-lactic acid polymer is made 75mol% or above. By this method, the energy to be supplied to a thermal head can be lessened and the thermal head is given a long life.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further improve the high picture quality and prevent the generation of feeding troubles in a printer by specifying the absolute value of electrostatic voltage in a heat-sensitive stencil printing base paper formed of a polyester film and a polyester non-woven cloth bonded together not through a bonding agent. SOLUTION: In a constitution in which a heat-sensitive stencil printing base paper is perforated by a thermal head or the like and formed of a polyester film and a polyester non-woven cloth bonded together not through a bonding agent, the absolute value of charging voltage is specified as 5KV or under. The absolute value of charging voltage is preferably set as 4KV or under, and more preferably 3KV or under, and as a method of setting the charging voltage of the base paper as 5KV or under, for instance, the method using a voltage applying type static eliminator, a self-discharge type static eliminator or the like in the manufacturing stage of the base paper or the method keeping the environment under the high humidity at the time of manufacture or at the time of storage, or the method combining the above-said methods or the like is used.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the superior perforation sensitivity in a low energy area and also provide the superior independent perforation properties in a high energy area by using a 2,6-naphthalene dicarboxylic acid component for the specified amount of an aromatic dicarboxylic acid component out of the constituting components of a film composed of copolymerized polyester. SOLUTION: An aromatic dicarboxylic acid such as terephthalic acid, isophthal acid, 1,4-naphthalene dicarboxylic acid and the like and a glycol component are used as constituting components for copolymerized polyester, while 5-70 molar % of the aromatic dicarboxylic acid component is composed of the 2,6-naphthalene dicarboxylic acid component. The copolymerized polyester is dried, and then fed into an extruder, melted therein at 250-350 deg.C, extruded onto a casting drum by the T-die extrusion method to manufacture a non- oriented film. The superior perforation sensitivity in a low energy area and the superior individual perforation properties in a high energy area can be provided by the above arrangement.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain heat sensitive stencil printing original paper which is excellent in printing resistance by a method wherein water absorption of the original paper is made a specific % or under. SOLUTION: Heat sensitive stencil printing original paper is provided wherein in the heat sensitive stencil printing original paper composed of a thermoplastic resin film and a porous backing, water absorption of the original paper is 3% or under, preferably 2% or under, and further preferably 1.5% under. Since neither strength nor elastic modulus is lowered by moisture in the air and ink thereby, the original paper is neither deformed nor broken even though a great number of copies are printed. Therefore, strain or the like is not generated also in a printed image, and the original paper which is excellent in printing resistance can be obtained. Further, when the water absorption exceeds 3%, a drop of the strength and elastic modulus of the original paper is increased, and the printing resistance is deteriorated.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain a thermal stencil printing base sheet having excellent printing quality level without distortion in an image by specifying the tensile strength of the sheet in a longitudinal direction in the sheet obtained by laminating a thermoplastic resin film and a porous support containing synthetic fiber as a main body. CONSTITUTION: A thermal stencil printing base sheet obtained by stencil engraving it by emitting flash light via a halogen lamp or xenon lamp, infrared rays, laser light beam by pulsating emission is formed by laminating a thermoplastic resin film and a porous support containing synthetic resin as a main body. In this case, the tensile strength of the base sheet having 1% of elongation in the longitudinal direction is set to 0.05kgf/cm or more. The thickness of the film is 0.1 to 10μm, and the fiber having a mean diameter of 1 to 30μm is used. As the resin film, polyester resin film is preferably used.
