Abstract: 本発明は、セルロース樹脂を含む溶融物をダイからフィルム状に、ドロー比10以上30以下となるように冷却ロール上に押し出し、押し出された溶融フィルムをタッチロールで冷却ロールに押圧し、更に溶融フィルムを冷却ロール上で固化しながら搬送するフィルム製造方法であって、該タッチロールは、金属製外筒と、内筒と、該金属製外筒と該内筒との間に冷却媒体を収容する空間とを有しており、更にタッチロール押圧時のタッチロール線圧を1kg/cm以上、15kg/cm以下とすることを特徴とし、液晶表示装置で画像を表示したときのダイラインに起因する明暗のスジや斑点状むらのない溶融製膜流涎法によるセルロースエステル樹脂を用いた偏光板保護フィルム、偏光板及び液晶表示装置が提供できる。

Abstract: PURPOSE:To conduct crosslinking effectively, by feeding an extruder with a polyolefin, a silane compound and a radical-generating agent, extruding the mixture, coating the surface of the extrudate with a colorant-containing polyolefin, and contacting the coated extrudate with a silane condensation catalyst and water. CONSTITUTION:A polyolefin (e.g., polyethylene) is fed from a hopper 2 into an extruder 1 and a solution prepared by dissolving a radical-generating agent (e.g., benzoyl peroxide) in a silane compound (e.g., vinyltriethoxysilane) is poured into the extruder 1 and reacted by heating. The reaction product is extruded alone or extrusion-coated around a conductor 7. At the same time, a colorant-containing polyolefin fed from the crosshead portion 6 of the extruder by a sub-extruder 5 is applied to the surface of the extrudate 8. The extrudate 8 is contacted with a siloxane condensation catalyst (e.g., dibutyltin dilaurate) and water to crosslink the polyolefin.

Abstract: A piece insertion method for a pipe, for example an irrigation pipe, including: ejecting at least one piece, for example a dripper, from an ejection unit, advancing the at least one dripper inside the irrigation pipe by a dripper advancing unit, lifting the dripper towards the inner surface of the irrigation pipe by using a lifting device such that the dripper is parallel or substantially parallel to this inner surface of the irrigation pipe on impact with this inner surface. The method according to the invention allows also coordination between the lifting device, the ejection unit and the dripper advancing unit such that the dripper spacing can be maintained in tight tolerances.

Abstract: A method for the continuous production of pre-insulated piping having an inner metal carrier pipe having an interior surface and an exterior surface and an envelope of foamed insulation surrounding the inner metal carrier pipe exterior surface. A molding apparatus is provided for forming an annulus about a pipe to be insulated into which foam can be injected. The pipe is continuously moved through the apparatus with foaming material being injected into the annulus a where it is molded and cured to form a foam insulated pipe. The molding apparatus is a roller-drum having a cylindrical length and a plurality of individual rollers arranged in a series of linearly staggered, circular arrays which define the annulus where the foaming material is cured.

Abstract: This disclosure relates generally to corrugated pipe, and more particularly to corrugated pipe with an outer wrap. In one embodiment, a pipe includes an axially extended bore defined by a corrugated outer wall having axially adjacent, outwardly-extending corrugation crests, separated by corrugation valleys. The pipe also includes an outer wrap applied to the outer wall. The outer wrap may include fibers and plastic. The outer wrap may span the corrugation crests producing a smooth outer surface.

Abstract: An assembly and process for forming a two stage extruded pipe having a central inner sleeve and a pair of outer attached lobes. The central sleeve shaped (also termed a grout receiving tube) is produced in an initial extrusion operation, following which it enters a cross head operation where a pair of outer lobes are attached to cross sectional exterior surface locations according to a second stage extrusion operation so as to be integrally formed therewith. Other steps include cooling of the dual stage extruded pipe, as well as sectioning and stacking the pipe. Additional steps include forming elongated slots or apertures into the central sleeve portion of the finished extrusion, such in non-interfering fashion with the individual passageway defining and lobes.
