A slidable door assembly for opening and closing an opening or entranceway including a hanger plate having hanger and up-thrust rollers thereon, a door panel fixed to the hanger plate, and a support structure disposed above the door opening. The support structure includes a hanger track upon which the hanger rollers travel, and a horizontally oriented guide or bearing surface which co-acts with the up-thrust rollers. A door stabilizer is fixed to the door panel, adjacent to its trailing edge, with reference to its closing movement, which includes a roller whose rotational axis is disposed outside the vertical projection of the door panel. The roller of the door stabilizer co-acts with a guide surface, which may be the same guide surface used by the up-thrust rollers, to protect the up-thrust rollers from excessive force, and prevent untracking of the hanger rollers, when a force is applied to the leading edge of the door panel.

A system for allowing a loading dock door to release from a track upon being struck by a fork lift or other sufficiently strong force. The system employs a unique track profile with one or more sidewalls that have an angled sidewall profile to allow the wheel assembly to move up the sidewall and out of the tracks, and a tensioned or spring loaded wheel assembly that allows the assembly to flex enough to ride up the sidewall and out of the tracks when the door is impacted.

The door closing device (10) comprises a fixed unit (12) that is fixed on the floor and/or the doorpost (S), a translating unit (14) and a rotating unit (16) on which the door leaf (B) is fixed. The coupling of the three units (12, 14, 16) and the presence of elastic means (38) are such that, when the rotating unit (16) rotates in a first sense of rotation, the translating unit (14) is caused to translate in a direction and such that, when the translating unit (14) translates in an opposite direction, the rotating unit (16) is caused to rotate in an opposite sense of rotation.

A door system includes a door formed of a plurality of panels and movable between a closed position and an open position. Hinges join adjacent together adjacent panels. A reinforcing member is attached to the panels and extends substantially the longitudinal length thereof. At least one roller carrier may be mounted interiorly of the reinforcing member that is adapted to receive a roller assembly. A hinge may be directly mechanically coupled to both the roller assembly and the reinforcing member by a fastener. A flexible washer may be included that retains together the top and bottom leaf of the hinge prior to installation.

An installation for feeding an animal, which installation is provided with a frame that encloses at any rate at least partially a frame area. A neutral position means for positioning a passage means into one particular neutral position.
