Abstract:
Abstract:
Abstract:
A device for positioning a magnetic head in a magnetic tape device includes a head carrier on which the head is mounted, a spiral gearing connected to the head carrier, and an operating device for rotation of the spiral gearing. The head carrier is disposed in a support system comprised of a first bearing rigidly disposed in the housing frame, a bearing plate adjustably attached to the frame and which can be positioned relative to a reference surface, and a second bearing disposed at the bearing plate.
Abstract:
In known magnetic tape recorder devices for cassettes provided with a magnetic tape, the cassette is manually inserted into its final position. The ejection of the cassette ensues upon employment of a lever mechanism or of a spring that is tensed upon insertion of the cassette. In the magnetic tape recorder device of the invention, the cassette is only partially inserted or, respectively, ejected and the further, at least partial draw-in and ejection ensues upon employment of a motor-driven drive capstan that moves the magnetic tape in the cassette in the normal operating condition. The automatic draw-in and ejection of the cassette is possible in the magnetic tape recorder device wherein the drive capstan is laterally arranged.
Abstract:
Encoded digital information signals are magnetically recorded on a magnetic recording medium with the assistance of a magnetic head to which write current is supplied. As a function of the encoded information signals, a head change is carried out wherein the current applied to the magnetic head is changed from a first current value to a second current value and vice versa. After each head change, an amplitude of the write current is varied in stepwise amounts from the first or second current value, respectively, and wherein the number of steps depends on a chronological spacing of the head changes from one another. Distortions of resulting read signals are reduced given the method and apparatus of the invention.
Abstract:
A system for the generation of a light intensity control signal for a video amplifier of a data display device is disclosed which is connected with a video signal line and a pulse generator. When displaying characters composed of horizontal lines and vertical rows of points on a screen, the lines display a higher brightness than the points. The disclosed system derives from the video signal an analog light intensity control signal for the video amplifier with which the light intensity of the points is readjusted. The system includes a detector device connected with a video signal line, the detector device identifying the signal sequence associated to a point, a line or, a blank and a converter which derives a light intensity control signal therefrom.
Abstract:
A system for setting up a data display device on a work surface, functions for elevation adjusting, for rotating, and for swelling the data display device. The system, which is particularly economical, has a stand with a telescope member adjustable in height thereon. A base plate is attached thereupon, and a rotary plate is supported on the base plate. The rotary plate has an arch 5 upon which sliding elements are guided, and to which the data display device is fastened.
Abstract:
In the apparatus for duplicating data, there are provided as data source a host processor (1) and as data receiver a plurality of peripheral storage devices (21 ... 2n), which are interconnected via a data and a control bus (3 and 4). In order to be able to transfer data information in parallel, the storage devices must be synchronised. For this, a sequence with individual request signals (e.g. dREQ) of all storage devices and acknowledgement signals (e.g. ACK) of the host processor runs byte-by-byte in such a way that the slowest of the active storage devices determines the chronological execution. The flexibility and serviceability of the apparatus is ensured by the fact that the host processor can activate or deactivate at any time all or only individual storage devices in any desired combination. … Process and apparatus are particularly suitable for copying magnetic data carriers having relative movement. … …
